i love the new quarantine greetings and sign-offs. “hope you’re staying safe!” god, i love that. it feels like giving each other old blessings. i feel like it has taken a lot of pretense of politeness and discovered that we do actually care about each other. we’re reaching out to each other. we’re taking care of each other. these are terribly circumstances but we are finding just how much we really care about each other and that is a silver lining.
