Fantastic artwork. I can't help but imagine poor Vader's reaction to this image.

He's had a shit week, the Death Star blew up, he got stranded on a jungle planet. After being rescued he was chewed out by his Master and demoted, which is why he's in this stupid low-level ISB briefing.

All the while he's brooding. His son was the pilot who blew up the Death Star. He shot at his son. His wife must have lived, did he kill her after all? Is she still alive? His master has lied for so long, told so many lies. What's next?

Then he hears the name Skywalker, looks up, and on the display is this propaganda poster. "We found this during a raid. This kid is the hero of the Rebellion, blew up the Death Star, blah blah blah."

Vader flashes back to the Clone Wars, to being the hero of the Republic, to being lusted after on the Holonet. His son is on the Holonet, his son is hunted by half the galaxy and fawned on by the other half.

Vader turns purple in his helmet and has no idea what to feel. For a brief, fleeting, horrifying moment, he wishes Obi-Wan was still alive so they could get drunk together because he's too sober for this.
