Hey !!!

I'm Ripley (she/they) and when I have an iota of free time (and any amount of actual muse) I write fic over on ao3 (@ thedestroycr). made this blog bc a) I want to try and start keeping myself mildly accountable, b) it'd be lovely to be able to interact with any readers/answer questions better than on ao3 and c) I forgot what my login was for my og blog so. here I am.

very very slowly working on the next protectors of the realm chapter !! have the ideas roughly juggled in my brain, just need to find the energy to type lmao

great news is that i have several scenes/chapters planned for a second and third instalment that go through to S3 (beyond that i am a blank page bc i am still super undecided on how to do this au for canon shit)

okay chapter may be a bit later than hoped for lmaoooo the writers curse hit hard (got sick, relative died, water tank sprung a leak) so I'm aiming for like this weekend for new protectors of the realm!!!

i will however be avoiding tumblr for the next week bc idk when I'll get a chance to watch vol 2

forcing the next chapter of 'protectors of the realm' out of my brain as best i can!! still aiming to post it for christmas/boxing day, and then get the last chapter written and out before the new year (unless steddie waylay me any further than they already have and add chapters i hadn't planned) i've got like?? half of ch3 written out rn and maybe 10% of ch4 done so let's hope for a xmas miracle lmao

yeah very confident next chapter of protectors of the realm won't be posted until next week - I'm on day 1 of 5 of travelling around and I'm exhausted already :))) will be plugging away writing when I can though so I'm hoping tuesday/Wednesday I'll have ch3 out!! and if I'm super lucky, ch4 won't be for behind it

i have the most INSANE week of social/work things ahead of me (like I am busy 75% of every day from the 7th-15th sksks) so we shall see if the next protectors chapter gets out on thursday - am hoping to cheekily write during my work hours lbr

figuring out where neon knights as a series is going to stop is exhausting because I nigh desperately love Eddie being involved during S3 shenanigans but I also kinda want to keep things lowkey on the upside down front for him so it's mostly canon but also Eddie/Robin/Steve bathroom scene would mean so much to me personally

sat doing my 9-5 and thinking of nothing but potr/neon knights and how I actually could go way off the deep end and make it longer than a few chapters and really slow burn it vs the fact I already have an insanely long rewrite/slowburn fic for one piece on the go and haven't touched in almost 2 years

do I think it's a mistake to start another long ass series? YES!!! am I still going to do it? also yes!!
