@the-autumncore-witch
I just have voices in my head.
Oh boy, a complex character who's a woman! I love messy characters who hurt everyone around them and continue the cycles that hurt them!! Can't wait to share this joy with fellow fansâ why's everyone calling her a bitch
scott really went through it in episode one which is wild because he goes through worse but without not even the first 10 minutes he sees a dead body, gets attacked be deer, falls down a hill, loses his inhaler, gets attacked by a wolf, and then almost gets hit by a car. iâm sobbing dude WENT THROUGH IT!!
#she's not the step mom she's the mom that stepped up!!
LIAM DUNBAR and LYDIA MARTIN in TEEN WOLF.
I know that the headcanon of Theo being considered legally dead is popular, but I particularly thing nobody ever declared him as dead or missing.
When the cops released him in 6Ă15 because he solved the case before them, they quickly give him a legal document for him to sign, so he was considered an alive person on paper.
What makes even more tragic 'cause it meant nobody even cared if he was dead or alive. His whole family was most likely already dead, he didn't have any friends, he only got close to the pack, but he betrayed all of them. Why would the sheriff even bother about registering the death/disappearance of a kid no one cared?
I've always seen it, as Theo doesn't have any paperwork about himself. No I.D. no birthcertificate. Sure, he is registered somewhere, but for all intents and purposes, he was never born. And doesn't that highlight the abusive nature of their relationship and the power the Dread Doctors had over Theo?
There is no way he can prove, he is even human. Hell, Theo doesn't know if he is human.
reading ur own writing and being happy cuz u re a good writer đ
allison and lydia in season one
âStiles would love me!â
You literally hate Scott. No he wouldnât.
Imagine trying to up your grades so you can be a vet, and then comes your childhood friend who is actually trying to kill you in one of the worst ways possible (betrayal) so he poisons you, now you can't breathe. Then you have to deal with three psychotic scientists who are actually immortal and have weird powers that you can't compete with talkless of fighting them while they're experimenting on teenagers and killing them. As if them causing mayhem isn't enough, the raise back a 200 year old werewolf that you have to fight and is beating the literal shit out of you. The love of your life is struggling with her powers and could stab you in your sleep. Meanwhile, your boss is missing and you still have bills to pay. All this is happening, and you still can't breathe, your bond with your friends is fading. Everything feels wrong and your new friend is still poisoning you and keeps trying to kill you. Also, you died, rose back up with a hole in your chest and you're trying to fix things. And you still have to go to school!
You think it's over and the love of your life is also gone.
I almost always forget how unhinged and funny Scott is, because why would you ask your mom if she's ever taken drugs. Also, him saying "he can dance with me next time" when Kira asked about Liam. He's portrayed as this serious character who just wants to go to work and save the day, but no, he's a loser nerd who says the funniest things ever
"Scott was so annoying and bratty in the earlier seasons"
As opposed to what, he should be grateful? He wasn't annoying enough in my opinion. I wish he was the menace that you guys claim him to be because the amount of garbage being dished out to him, while he's expected to take it is hilarious to think about. He's going through violent changes-which will alter his life forever- that he didn't ask for and the weight of responsibility is being forced on him.
Brother was turned without consent and everyone is expecting him to take responsibility. Responsibility for what? For being a victim? Please, piss off.
More Teen Wolf rant stuff: The writing for Allison has made her so painfully uninteresting whenever she appears on screen. She just feels like a prop to be Scott's "forbidden lover" cuz her family is made up of hunters. She lacks real depth imo. I don't think the women of this series are written well so far, maybe it'll change but idk. I like Jackson and Lydia's writing fs though. Lydia's anxiety and I think implied PTSD makes her far more interesting. Her motives behind her actions are so messy though like her making out w Scott and it's just skipped over like it's wtv and the only one who brings it up is Stiles. Idk maybe I'm just not paying enough attention but ALL Allison does is makeout w Scott and cry for the first season, it's so insufferable and makes me not wanna like her character. She has insane potential w her background only for her to feel so mind numbingly shallow.
I've only just finished the first season so no one spoil anything for me, but opinions or just a GLIMMER of hope for her to become even mildly interesting as a character and not just because of her background would be great.
No offence, but if Allison was all "make out and cry" to you then you weren't paying attention at all. I understand that JD could have written her character better, and I understand that she wasn't perfevtly written, but reducing her to the love-interest is a skill issue. In s1, it was shown that she has a strained relationship with her father. She was also dealing with identity crisis because she felt like she wasn't able to express her emotions due to the way she was raised. You can see the conflict in her body language when she said "I cried like a girly girl and I'm not a girly girl", and you can see her thinking if this was the right way to process her emotions. I mean, we were shown how she hated the feeling of helplessness and actually wanted to be powerful.
Her relationship with Scott was wholesome but he was lying and keeping things from her which made her not trust him. In fact, everyone was lying to her; her father, and even her aunt. She was so desperate to find out the truth that she bonded with Jackson who was also asking questions.
In s2, she knows everything, now she has to decide if she should follow her family conduct of doing things or be on the right track and actually help her friends. This made her relationship with her friends more strained. She then lost her mother which made her go crazy, so we actually see how she processes grief in s2 with Kate's death and her mother's. There was also the storyline of her being stalked and attacked by Matt.
S3 comes and you can see her rejecting her family's code and using her own code, pushing her father to do the right thing instead of sitting on the sidelines. We also see her confused and conflicted when she broke down emotionally in front of the sheriff. That scene is so important to note when looking at her character. For the first time, we see Allison admit that she wasn't strong, but was actually confused and didn't know what to do because a lot was happening.
Like come on, the material is right there. I often criticise the way she was written too, but you not seeing past the crying and her spending time with her boyfriend is a choice.
It's funny that season 1 Lydia really care about the popularity and status of how she was around and then her friend group for the following seasons consists in:
The niece of a know murderer
The girl who went missing and lived on the woods for 8 years
The dorky daughter of the history teacher that was the main suspect of a murder
A boy who got spelled from his previous school for trashing his coach car
The geekest guy around
Two people who were declared as dead before
The asmathic guy who migth be on steroids or not.
Finally sharing my story on Azura DragonFaether. This doesnât even begin to scratch the surface of the damage she has done to the dragon community.
How witchtok drama can quickly turn into criminal behavior.
Kate Argent is so fucking creepy towards rhe male characters in Teen Wolf. She constantly sexually harasses Derek, checks out Scott, and even makes comments TO ALLISON about her wishing she was in high school so she could get w Jackson. This woman is legit a creep and a predator I hate her more than Peter and I'm ONLY on season 1.
