Life in Thought
Life presents us with many barriers. Barriers regarding what's socially/culturally acceptable, what we should or shouldn't do, what we can or can't strive for or achieve. Why then do we create more personal barriers for ourselves? We say "no" or "I cant", rather than saying "yes" and trying with a full heart. Whilst some barriers are simply unattainable and out of our control, others we can dismiss as mere fragmented illusions and myths that simply don't exist. You CAN climb to the peak of that hill and see that beautiful vista below - the life and the endless possibilities that lie ahead of you. Whatever that life is, YOU create it with those you love around and beside you. There are no barriers as such as long as you are happy and follow through in your decisions without regrets, those 'barriers' simply dissipate. In the end, the most precious thing that life offers to us is the chance of happiness. Happiness within our own lives and those of the ones we love and hold dear. Nothing else really matters - success, achievement, wealth, status, a solid profession. These things are finite, meaningless in comparison. In life you are defined by your decisions, your attitudes, and your overall quality of life; not by the job you hold, or the financial success you achieve. You are the only one to live your life, so do so by doing whatever brings you contentedness. There are no barriers, your happiness is limitless. Just take a deep breath, admire that beautiful vista, and free fall. If you create happiness in your life you will always float, regardless.
