Hi y'all! My name is Nevaeh Albright and the handsome man next to me is my lovely husband, Cory. He is incredibly smart and I'm thankful to call myself Mrs. Cory Albright. We have been married for 3 months now, time flies when you are blessed! Our story began in a very rural part of Chestnut Ridge, I was adopted by wonderful Christian parents who raised me in such a Godly community. Cory's family are non-believers but he converted when he was 15. My father was skeptical about letting him court me because of this, but he passed his courtship survey with flying colors! After only a few months we got engaged when I was 18 and Cory was 21.

Our most recent adventure together has been our big move to San Sequoia! Cory was offered an internship here by a local politician, such a glorious opportunity from the Lord. I was sad to leave my parents, especially since I'm an only child, but I know that I am meant to be under Cory's headship now. Now that we're settling in, I can't wait to begin our lives together!

Today God has really put the topic of community on my heart and I'd like to share how important it is to be surrounded by your siblings in Christ. Growing up in Chestnut Ridge, practically everyone around me was a Christian! One of my biggest worries about moving to San Sequoia was the worldly influences that are much more prominent here. I often see young girls out wearing crop tops, businesses that manipulate the meaning of rainbows, and plenty of other disheartening things. My spirit hurts for these people who are not just living in the world, but are a true part of it. I often pray for their souls. Luckily San Sequoia is a big place and the suburb that Cory and I live in is less secular than most parts. Cory's role as a campaign assistant allows him to meet lots of like-minded people, and one colleague, Malachi Ramsey, recommended Hope Hills Baptist Church, (Malachi's father George is the pastor)! We attended our first service last Sunday and I am absolutely blown away.

Right away, I was in awe of how beautiful the church is. Walking into God's house is always just such a blessing. Apart from that, what really makes or breaks a church is the congregation and how biblically they live their lives. There are too many churches today filled with people trying to change the meaning of God's word to fit their political agenda.

That's not the experience I had here! Hope Hills is flowing with the spirit of God and dedicated churchgoers. Pictured above is me with Pastor George's wife, Isabella, she's on the right of me and she is a mother of 13! On the left is Liliana Ramsey, Isabella's daughter in law! She is right around my age and just had her first baby, Karlie, such a blessing!! Throughout the fellowship I was told by so many people that I seem so mature and responsible, I hope that's a sign from God that my season of motherhood is right around the corner!

Cory looked so handsome in his church suit. I loved the church right away, but as the spiritual leader of our household it was ultimately his decision on if it was the right choice for us, and thankfully he agreed! Cory can be sometimes be more reserved that I am so he didn't spend as much time socializing, but I pray he will have some sort of ministry calling someday. My heart and spirit are so full after this wonderful day we had and I pray that this beautiful ministry continues to grow.
