With the new portraits coming out I know we are all trying to figure out who the eighth portrait is going to be assuming that the first seven are:

Sophie, Tam, Lihn, Biana, Fitz, Keefe, and Dex

That leaves behind:

Marella, Maruca, Stina, Jensi, and Wylie

Guys…. What if the new portrait is Alvar!

We have only seen him once in a family portrait but we’ve all kind of thought that he might play a role in Unlocked so he might possibly be the last portrait.

When Sophie took the green pill in Legacy she said that the people around her were calling for the white pill and no one called for the green pill. But then she said some people didn’t voice their opinion to let her decide… who do you think didn’t voice their opinion?

My guess for who didn’t say anything would for sure be Keefe, I also feel like Dex probably didn’t say anything, and maybe Marella but other than that I feel like everyone else probably called for white.

Also controversial I feel like Edaline didn’t call for a color, I feel like mentally she would be chanting white but knew she was going to choose green.

The fact that every cognate bond in the book either didn’t work out or is broken does not look good for Sophie and Fitz….. and honestly I feel like it’s not going to end well.

The thing is, is Sophie never really got a choice in it in Neverseen she kind of was told “hey your going to create this bond” and she got scared about sharing everything. We have already seen in Stellarlune she has thought about/ wanted to break it off and people told her no don’t do that.

Honestly I think what is keeping her from calling it off is that she still can keep some of her secrets hidden. But I don’t feel like Fitz is the type of person to want things hidden from him. We already seen that sort of break in trust when Sophie found her bio mom and Fitz kept asking questions and determining who it is even when Sophie said stop.

It’s only a matter of time before he does that again and uses it against Sophie, wherein Sophie finally decides she’s had enough. This also would fit in with Sophie’s character arc. We have seen her in the past sort of go with the flow and literally be the Black Swans puppet doing everything they want. In the last couple of books we have seen her go against this and start to become her own person and breaking that bond would be a huge step in defying what was thought ‘best’ for her and into a new identity where she does things on her own terms and because of her own wants and desires.

Full circle moment… I need a scene in unraveled where Keefe ends up at the museum Sophie was found at by Fitz and he’s just like, “These dinosaurs look nothing like the real things” and he walks out and then goes “man what is that noise… All this construction over a light post that looks like it fell down”

the parallels between Keefe and sophie and their abilities is actually so sick ive been thinking about it for LITERAL days. i mean the way they both had to know about what their parents really thought of them and there was really nothing they could do about it

a point in favor of sokeefe beign end game was in falshback when they were having a conversation about last names on the way to Lady Cadences house, Keefe says he wants to get rid of his, Sophie wants to keep hers, and Della, as fitz is not their, mentions how she took the vacker name because of the legacy. This of course alludes to how fitz wont want to change his name. This shows that Sokeefe fit each other better, as one wants to give and one wants to keep, while Fitzphie, both would want to keep. i have another point here but im too tired to do anything other than relay the facts

I like to think Sophie has a talent for short stories/poetry y’know that hidden gem you find on ao3 that’s really short but has so much hidden meaning, mostly I like to think this because she has no talents that we know of outside the abilities the black swan gave her but I also like it because I think Keefe would make art based of her stories and the idea of them sitting side by side creating and indulging in their passions has me lying awake at night

Guys a funny Easter egg for the movies if they modernize it could be placed in Sophie’s room. We know in cannon she is a fan girl imagine she has a poster of Loki in her room among other posters only to find out Forkle is the inspiration for the Norse god!

So I'm going to be talking about Fitz's insecurities with Keefe and Sophie always spending time together while Sophitz were dating.

I made a post already about how Keefe and Fitz are jealous of each other, and I commented on how it seemed like everyone chose someone else over him. And it seemed to Fitz that Sophie was close to doing that the more she spent most of the day with him while ignoring Fitz's calls.

Anyway the thing that made me think of making this post was how, because of the Vacker family stuff and how the Match is so important to Fitz, he probably knows a thing or two about who tends to get matched with who, which abilities are more likely to match, so he could start thinking about options even if he hadn't registered yet. (Also it's so stupid how elves live so long yet can get their lists while still in foxfire. But that's a post for another day.)

If my memory is correct (and it may very well not be), in Stellarlune I'm pretty sure there was a moment where someone at some point mentioned that Empaths and Telepaths tend to match together. It might have been something to do with Koralie (and then hinting at sokeefe).

My point is, if Fitz knew that Empaths and Telepaths often matched, that could have fed his insecurity.
