The Unspoken Guilt

A weight, a pain,

How else to describe it?

Why oh why

Am I cursed to feel it?

Everywhere I go,

Every corner, every nook,

Always leaving me rather shook.

Around all my beloved ones,

Trinkets and all

It haunts me,

Am I doomed to fall?

Fall into the grasp,

Of this undying guilt,

Building with every passing moment,

And with every tear spilt?

Why oh why,

Even though I try,

My hope shatters

Right before my eyes.

Gloom sets in,

Yet I smile.

Nobody can know,

The dam however fickle,

must hold to stop it's flow.

My conscience is dripping with it,

And i feel rather blue.

Oh how I wish to be free

But I still am captured,

Yippee.

And at the end of the day,

When my battery hits zero

I let it all out,

Done failing to be a hero.

It gushes out my eyes,

And stains my soul.

I wish I could go back to times so old,

Where I was free,

Free little honeybee,

Not knowing my wings would soon break.

Part five! (It's a short one srry)

"NO. Oh my gosh, you guys kissed? No way. How was it?" The slyness in Alice's voice was unmistakable.

"Well… only for a few minutes. Kind of wish we did not stop, though." A smile played at Julie’s lips.

Alice was over the moon. "How was it?" Alice teased, wiggling her eyebrows."Aaahhhh! Shut up, Alice, come on." Julie groaned, turning scarlet. She took a moment to cool off while Alice made her way to math class.

An hour of pure torture later, the entire school gathered in the assembly hall for an announcement. The principal's voice boomed through the decades-old speakers, making everyone straighten up.

"Students, settle down, please. By popular request, we have introduced a Queen & King of School concept to encourage friendly competition and fun. Based on performance, skill, and popularity, we will select two finalists. The rest of the school will cast their votes, and in the end, the winners will be crowned in time for homecoming and receive a trophy. We hope this will bring out enthusiasm among you all.

Now, back to learning, everyone."

A collective groan echoed through the hall as students reluctantly made their way back to class.After school, Julie and Alice finalized their plans to meet at Alice’s house.

"You better give me details on Harrie," Alice warned, poking Julie’s arm."

Okay, okay! Now get going, your mother is waiting," Julie replied with a laugh.

Part 4 (yay <3)

"Come on, you know what I'm talking about Jules. How was the date? It was at that cafe you've been dying to try. Tell me about it!

"Okay okay. After school though were late!" And Julie grabbed Alice and they both sped over to Lab. After they were done and told that their experiment conditions were wrong, yet again, it was Julie's turn.

"Okay so first he picked me up at eight, and I was wearing that baby blue illusion bodice dress that you gave me. And he blushed a little it was so cute! And we went on this stroll and omg I think we must have talked for hours! He is so funny. " Alice felt the swoon in her friends voice.

" And we went to the cafe and it was chill but you could see the stars out the ginourmous windows and it was so pretty. We both got hot chocolate and he got me a strawberry croissant, and I didn't even need to ask. But... " Julie passed red and turned maroon.

"What? Don't leave me hanging. "

Julie hesitated. "Umm I think he wanted to give me a peck on the cheek and I turned at the wrong moment and we... "

End of the year

sixth grade is over. Pretty emotional and it ended with an exam which sucks. Anyways goodbye grade six and hello to awkwardness, even harder study and impossible exams! 🥳
