Hello! We're the Chartreuse System! We're a bodily adult, polyfragmented, and potentially programmed system. A lot of us were getting overwhelmed with all the side blogs, so we decided to make a singular system side blog to post on rather than a million individual side blogs for each of us. We interact from @number1-rodger-main.

We have multiple hosts that host depending on our current special interest or hyperfixation.

Lilach (🪙) is our Marvel and DC Host and introject of Erik “Magneto” Lehnsherr. He requests that sourcemates IWCare, as he is source attached and in the specific source he is from, many of his friends and family are dead.

Barkley (🐶) is our Homestuck host and introject of John Egbert. Sourcemates and doubles may interact with him just fine.

Bandit (💸) is our Transformers host and introject of Swindle from Animated. Lie requests that Swindle doubles from any and all continuities not interact with liar. “It gives me uncanny valley,” lie says.

I’m not about to go writing little intros for all of our many, many alters, but below the cut will be a sourcelist if you’re looking for sourcemates.

We’d use #doubles interact but that tag seems to have been completely taken by the yumeship community and we don’t wanna interrupt anyone’s yumeship scroll with a sudden system post. At least a fair share of systems appear to use the #doubles DNI tag, however, so we’ll use it, too.

More nonsensical ramblings about Transformers

What are the moral ethics surrounding Cybertronian recycling? Is that a thing? Recycling dead Cybertronians? I think it was mentioned in the Lost Light comic. Six-Of-Twelve was going to recycle live Cybertronians for parts for Cold Construction. Obviously recycling live Cybertronians is bad. But what about dead ones? Are there morals and ethics surrounding that? Do Cold Constructed Cybertronians ever feel weird about being made of dead people? Can a Cybertronian choose to donate their body to Cold Construction after they die? Like some humans donate their bodies to science after they die? Or like how dome humans become organ donors?

How does Cybertron have glass to make glasses (both cup and eyewear lol)? Is it imported from other planets? Because glass is made of sand (specifically silica sand), and silica sand is extracted from like sandstone or quartz, but the entirety of Cybertron is metal isn’t it? No rock and no water to erode it! So where does Cybertron get its glass?

Cybertronians appear to have glass built into them (optics appear to be glass for instance and they have windows for their alt-modes), so is glass (somehow??) naturally occurring in Cybertronians and they get their glass from recycled Cybertronians?

I can practically smell either a Whirl or Rodimus fragment and I bet Dreemurr’s gonna fucking embarrass himself if it turns out its a Whirl because wdym his first words when seeing Whirl’s design was “tit cannons”? We are 110% yelling the Whirl he said that. Would they agree? Are they tit cannons? Who’s gonna be the one to tell Dreemurr that Whirl’s a guy?

Now we need to show gramps everyones designs and have him guess their genders. It’s like CRK, how you can’t assume a character’s pronouns just by seeing their design. Which is funny because Dreemurr shares a subsystem with Eggnog Cookie. So he should know well and true not to assume a mech’s gender, yet here we are with Dreemurr seeing that Whirl mech for the first time on a TikTok and sayin’ he got tit cannons!

I’d like to show him Blades with that claw thing and see what he has to say about that. And does Whirl have tits because Whirl has a large chassis? Okay, then what about Breakdown and Shockwave from TFP? You ever see their man tits? I’d like to show Dreemurr their man tits.

Do Cybertronians with ‘metal clothes’ like Crosshairs consider it clothes or more of their natural plating that just … hangs off?

I forgot that, sometimes, our newly split alters don’t realize or that they’re. well. alters in a system or even know what alters or systems are, and so they freak out when they first show up in the system, so now I just hear Ire (TFA Ratchet) and ??? (IDW Rodimus Prime) in headspace yelling back and forth as Ire tries to calm Rodimus down enough to explain to him his current situation

Okay, but like, does anyone know why Rung wears glasses? Is it ever explained?? I can’t remember. Is it poor vision? To hide something about himself? For an aesthetic? Because he wants to?

Our Rung alter, Primus, recalls wearing glasses because prime’s optics were akin to human car brights and were a nuisance to other Cybertronians—especially at night—so the glasses help filter out or dim the light coming from primes’ optics, or something. We’re 100% sure that these source memories aren’t anywhere close to the canon reason Rung wears glasses, so, now we really wanna know the canon reason
