This wasn’t something he expected to hear at all today. It wasn’t her sudden statement that caught him off guard - it was the way she spoke.
“Darling? Are you feeling alright?”
“Don’t worry about the scratches, I took care of the ones who did this.” She kissed his cheek. “Now it’s just you and me sweetie.” She continued to give him light pecks on the cheek, purring slightly in his ear.
He couldn't help being worried; it was in his nature to be overly concerned about his bride. Sighing through his nostrils, the taller Variant briefly nodded his head. "Alright then, Darling."
Her constant gentle pecks and light purring could never go unnoticed. It made him smile mildly, returning a sweet peck to her forehead.
"Wha. Who, me?" looks around the room.

At first, throughout the days in school, Eddie always noticed that time went unbearably slow. All he wanted to do was leave this hellish school building and isolate himself within the comforts of his home.
Impatiently tapping his index finger against his forearm, his blue eyes slowly trailed around the classroom until spotting a girl named Chloe seated just one desk in front of him.
’… Darling?’ He frowned at the thought, quickly burying his head in his arms and mutely grumbled. His Mother and therapist warned him about thinking that way.
The girl tapped a finger on her desk and sighed softly, after the lesson she would have to question him about why he was staring.
He mutely sighed in relief once the bells chimed, dismissing all the students out of class. He was ready to leave.
Oh boy...
He smiled almost cheerfully once spotting another “compatible” person.
“Darling.”
