When Lucifer asked him to watch the newly born baby, Diavolo didnât think anything would be terrible. What kind of anger can this little kid create? He regretted that thought soon after discovering what usually happens when someone had watched him last.
âYeah, the last time the guy had to be rush to hospital since someone forgot to lock the knife drawer.â Thanks Mammon. Diavolo thought as he picked up the blonde. He ran his fingers through Satanâs hair as he bounced him. He had some paperwork to finish but he knew leaving him alone is a death wish.
âLittle Satan, do you want to do something?â He asked, finally finishing it. The blue-green eyes looked up from his lap. Diavolo smiled at him.
âYou wanna go out and about?â Satan nodded with a wide uneven smile. Honestly thatâs adorable.
Diavolo had to thank every god and angel for being able to find a small bookstore that Satan wanted to go in. It seemed that the little demon likes book with the sheer amount he wanted. Diavolo had to limit it to three which he wonders if Lucifer will get mad about what books he allowed.
âYou wanna eat?â He asked the toddler who spun around for a moment.
âApple pie!â Diavolo chuckled, picking Satan up.
âHow about that for dessert? What do you wanna eat before that?â
âWhat?â Diavolo looked over to where Satan pointed. There was a small demon kitten, crying out. Satan tried to get out of the crown princeâs arms, eyes focused on the kitten. Diavolo sighed.
âSatan, as cute as you are, I canât let you do that. Demon cats are known for hurting little demons like you. I can get you something else if you want a kitten.â The tiny glare made him feel worse. Diavolo, you have a soft spot for him. They walk around for a moment as Diavolo tried to look for the shop and prevent Satan from crying.
âI wanna kitty.â Diavolo kissed Satanâs head as he finally found the store. It was an old store, one that was around when he was very young but, it still was around for the quality it produces. He walked in, it was mainly empty which sorta helped manners. And there it was, the thing he was looking for.
âHey Satan, look.â He picked the plush up and showed Satan. It was a black cat plushie with vivid yellow eyes. Satanâs eyes lit up when he saw it, grabbing it and squeezing it close. Diavolo smiled, letting him hug it for a bit longer before going to buy it.
âAlright, letâs get food, okay?â Satan nodded, hugging the cat plushie.
âThank you so much for watching him.â Lucifer said, taking the sleeping blonde back from Diavolo. Satan moved a little bit to get comfortable. Lucifer smiled fondly which led to Diavoloâs face turning red. It was so adorable to see them together, âfatherâ and son.
âYouâre very welcome, he wasnât much trouble at all.â
âThough, I am curious to where he got the plushie.â
âPlease donât spoil him, Diavolo.â
âWhere is it?â Satan was about to scream. Of course he had to lose his most precious item in his room. He had checked everywhere, tore his room apart trying to find it.
Why canât I find you??? He wiped the tears off his face, trying to stop crying. Of course, when his anger gets too bad he starts crying. He was so mad at himself for losing it.
Mittens! I canât find him! He hiccupped, looking around the room as he sat on the staircase leading to his actual bedroom. Books were now covering the entire floor. How could he lose Mittens like this? He heard a knock on his door.
Satan, Iâm at the door, could you let me in?
The floor is covered in books, I canât. He covered his face, hoping it stopped Lucifer from hearing his cries. The bedroom door opened and closed. He heard footsteps coming closer before feeling a tap on his shoulders. He looked up before his eyes widened. Staring back were vivid yellow eyes.
âMittens!â He grabbed the tiny plushie and held it close. He heard Lucifer chuckling, patting his back.
âIâm sorry, I shouldâve told you that I took the plushie to fix it. Itâs tail and one of the legs were falling off so I sewed them back. Iâm sorry for making you go crazy over your plushie again.â Satan glared at Lucifer who was trying to fix Satanâs room up.
âPlease tell me next time.â
