May I request Strabimon with tamer headcanons? I’m surprise no one has asked for him yet.
Strabimon with a Tamer
Strabimon is... a bit difficult to handle when first meeting the hybrid level. Unlike his full powered form, he isn't exactly as kind and is a bit more aggressive. Even with a Tamer, he's much more likely to attack other Digimon without warning of allowed to enter his more ferocious state.
He's distant, and tends to not speak to his Tamer much when they first start adventuring together. The most his Tamer will get when they try to talk to him is one word responses at best.
It takes time and patience to get close to Strabimon. Any time there's no fighting going on, he's always distant and doesn't stand near his Tamer much. The only time he even remotely listens is when a battle breaks out, and he actively protects his Tamer, despite them not 'getting along' exactly. But once it's done, he goes back to being quiet and reserved.
When they finally manage to get past his walls after trying for so long, he opens up some to them. Only a little bit. It's best his Tamer not push him too much after managing to get closer, as he only talks a bit before he gets a bit annoyed and stops chatting after a set amount of time
He starts walking beside them instead of either traveling in the trees if there were any in the area, or on rocks or the like. Anything to set a bit of distance. Even sleeping, he'd choose to get his own food and wouldn't come down from wherever he's perched himself to sleep. But now, he's sharing what food he gathers and sleeps on the opposite side of the campfire, or whatever they had set-up for the night
He holds a serious face and hardly smiles. It takes a Lot to get him to crack a grin, even when close to him. It's truly amazing how different he gets when fully powered compared to it being cut in-half. But so long as his Tamer is patient and tries their hardest with him, he'll eventually come around.
