They do all have items and in-game skills, and I'll probably make proper posts abt that one day.... Most of my survivors kits arent 100% finalized, heres a shortened vers of some:

Gabriel, "Father"; Item: Bible; Type: Decode. His item allows him to give himself a 30% decoding speed increase for 30 seconds, or to give himself and a teammate each 15% decoding boosts for 45 seconds.

Louise, Barber; Item: Scarificator; Type: Rescue. After taking damage, she can use her item on herself to gradually reduce her fear and provide herself with an interaction speed boost for 10 seconds.

Zhengai, Martial Artist; Item: Fists; Type: Contain. He punches the hunter and stuns them, its nothing fancy. Think like if forward and anti had a baby.

Banyuan, Qin Player; Item: Guqin; Type: Assist. He plays a soothing melody to significantly slow the hunter's movement, interaction, and recovery speed for as long as he is playing his music (max duration and cd undetermined(´ε｀ ))
