Dracula Parrot process.
Dear Moonstine,
No one suspects a thing. Humans think I’m called the Dracula parrot because of my appearance, and everyone wants to see me. Your advice to switch my form to a parrot changed my life. Preying on hiking humans has never been this easy, and when I bite them, they think it’s their fault!
Thank you
Dracula
The Pesquet's parrot, also called the Dracula parrot, is found in New Guinea. Despite their gothic appearance, they feed on figs.
I went into this drawing having no idea how to draw the face or feathers without getting overwhelmed, but reminded myself to focus on the shadows and shapes.
Long-tailed tit.
Long-tailed tit.
The double-barred finch.
Samantha didn't sell out to become a successful artist, but she did sell her eggs to make room for her studio.
Giving swimming lessons to dragonflies was a deliberate decision. Opening a feeding spot for fish on the side was a profitable accident.
Southern Yellow-Billed Hornbill
"Bill Horn, you're under arrest for stealing Jimmy's groceries," the police officer said.
"But wait, how can it be stealing?" Bill said. "Stealing implies I removed something from his property, and I ate everything right there in his nest."
“You’ve been sitting there in silence all afternoon,” Tina said. “What are you thinking about?”
“How I left the stove on in Greta’s nest,” Jess said. “I’m wonder if it was a mistake.”
Tina gasped. “Jess, did you try to burn your neighbor’s nest down?”
“No, no,” Jess said. “I just wanted to send her gas bill through the roof so she can’t afford all the nice things. She’s making me look poor and I can’t have that.”
“Was hauling your roommate’s possessions to a nearby thrift store worth a year in jail?” The judge asked. “And isn’t it?” Greta said. “If I got away with it, I would have never needed to see her hideous furniture again. I got caught, but in jail I would be away from her awful sense of style as well. If you ask me, I could only ever be a winner in this scenario.”
“Why are you called a house finch?” Greg asked.
“Well, it’s not because I secretly live in people’s homes, steal all their pet bird’s seed so they die and I can take their place by being the cute wild bird that happened to be there when they needed it most.” Luke said.
"Why is Greta so bloated?" Timmy asked his friend.
In front of them Greta shuffled forward across the school grounds, barely able to see over her swollen chest.
"Oh, she got F on the test today," Jim said. "She's puffed up because she's proud."
"I don't think a F is anything to be proud of," Timmy said.
"It would be if that's the highest you've ever gotten."
Lovebirds.
"Gloria, your breath stinks," Joe said as he leaned forward. "I don't want to hurt your feelings, but it's hard to breathe near you."
"Huh," Gloria said, narrowing her eyes. "It must be the food you fed me last night."
"Nonsense, my mother made it," Joe said.
Gloria glared at him. "Exactly."
"Oh, I'm so sick of all this sugar," Newt said as he leaned back. "It's so sweet."
"You don't need to eat it all right now," Sara said. She leaned down to gather the snacks, but Newt grabbed the chocolate bar before she could.
"I don't need to, but I certainly want to," Newt said.
"Do you know what the rainbow tastes like?" Payton asked as she stared up at one. "I'd love to find out."
"I wouldn't try it if I were you," Fred said. "It's colors, right? Well, I've eaten paint before because it looked good just like the rainbow. I'll tell you what thought, worst decision of my life, plus I had pink poop for a week."
Cockatiel
"Look at these cute little puffy cheeks," the woman said at the pet shop while looking at a cockatiel. "I could easily buy him."
"Buy me?" the cockatiel said to his friend, looking bewildered.
"Yeah, this is a pet shop," his friend said.
"Oh. I thought we're being displayed in a public setting so humans can admire us."
