“… stranger t’ings had happened tae meh, if we can get somewhere where aye can see mer t’en 3 feet intfron’t o’ meh t’at’d beh great.”

“Ahh, well, yes I can understand if you have trouble seeing. I’ve lived down here all my life so I’m rather used to all this. If it helps the rest of the dark world is a bit better lit then my kingdom, but I imagine you’d rather get back home yes? That’s only possible from from my castle these days, ever since Kris and Susie sealed the second dark fountain.”

“Do you want me to hold your hand to help guide you through the dark Miss? If your averse to touching other people, I could use my scarf instead.”

The prince’s smile remained as soft and gentle as ever, his magically animated scarf reaching up and gently waving to the chimera, obviously under the child’s control.
