Well, that's just... just exactly how this day has gone for me. The first of my two "raise money for a good cause" prizes arrived today, a keychain clicker, and it is missing the chain part. It still clicks, it's still cute, and I don't want to sound whiny, but. It's not currently a keychain.
Edit: apparently that was also the tipping point for how absolutely fucktastic my day has been. Like, how dare I want nice things.
Well, I spent a little longer writing/editing tonight than I had planned and now it's too late to do dishes, so of course I'm debating staying up and watching marbles on my tablet instead of sleeping.
My current writing statuses:
Interference - resting. Posting readiness? No timeline yet.
Storm Watch - getting back into The Survivors. This fic is short, but has had a slow and bumpy start already. The training wheels might be ready to come off. Posting readiness? A couple days to a couple weeks, depending on my time and current marble hyperfixation.
Marble Isekai - still in the planning stages. I have a good idea how it starts, I know who ends up as which marble, I even have a decent idea how they get back to their own universe, but there's still a lot of planning to be done. Posting readiness? I don't even have a title yet.

Well, I've made it through 11 chapters of the Interference reread, and I think it's still pretty good so far. And now we wait and see if the second half of the fic holds up.
Ask game: If you were a marble, what color/pattern, opaque vs translucent or transparent, would you want to have? ("Ball bearing" is a completely acceptable answer.)
I think I'd like to be opaque light blue with a violet swirl and a pearly finish.
Also, there is a Momomomo/Wispy hurt/comfort fic from That fidget spinner incident, and ooooohhhhhh nooooo......
There are 382 fics on AO3 tagged Jelle's Marble Runs. I need to make that number go up. And I think my crackfic is going to have chapters.

Alright, so I don't burn myself out, I think I'm going to take a short break from marbles, and go back to the Marble Hornets and reread my hockey fic. I think it's probably sat long enough that it'll feel "fresh" when I reread it and see if anything needs fixing.
I do rather want to write the Marble² Hornets fic, but also, I have no idea what the JMR fandom is like and how strict they want canon to be in the fics. I don't know how much studying I want to do before writing a crackfic.
I feel like the Marble ManiaX series was Balls of Chaos living up to their team name and going "hey, who wants to join us doing some really unwise but Really Cool stunts?" XD
