We are the Glade Constellation, a diagnosed traumagenic OSDD-1b system. The body is an adult for those wondering. This page is generally just us being us, so posts will just be crazy and random. We just wanted a place to be ourselves and possibly try to find friends.

Our DNI list is pretty simple. Anything you would see in a normal DNI list applies here. Just don’t be rude.

Just letting everyone know that we’re changing this blog to be a backup account. We don’t want to delete it, but we’re officially fixing up our main account to accommodate all of us. Our main will now be known as “glade-constellation” and this account will change to “the-glade-backrooms” <3

Have other people had a brain-made alter suddenly become an “introject”? (We’re using quotation simply because he’s not really an introject, just changed? If that makes sense.)

For explanation, we have an alter named Gremlin. He was literally just a black void creature who mimicked other alters’ voices, and rarely sometimes appearances. They’ve been that way for years. Recently, though, that changed. We started watching a show with a character that acted almost exactly like Grem. If all the characters in the show were a system, that character would have the same exact role and mannerisms as him. The character even shapeshifted and mimicked another character in the show. Grem has suddenly started appearing around our inner world as this character, and now sounds like them too. He still does what he used to, but now they have their own voice and appearance when just being themself that isn’t just a void.

To us, he’s still a brain-made alter. Very few things have changed besides appearance, so it’s not like they’re suddenly a new person. We just haven’t really heard of this happening and wanted to know if this has happened to other systems.

1.) Our comfort media tends to change based on certain things since some of us have different interests than others, but we tend to have a main few. Transformers, FNAF, and Attack on Titan are probably our longest standing pieces of comfort media, but Supernatural is another close one. Honestly kind of funny that most of our comfort media tend to have pretty heavy topics.

2.) We use both Simply Plural and Discord. While we have all of our info saved and up to date on Simply Plural, we’re far more likely to remember to log who’s fronting on Discord since we’re most active there. We have a personal discord just for keeping up with system stuff that we’ll then input into Simply Plural when one of us remembers.

3.) Definitely an over sharer. We share too much. But we honestly see it as an explanation to certain behaviors we have. It’s easier for us to let people know we’re a system, because then people aren’t questioning why we’re always acting weird or different from how we were when they met us. And people often ask to be told about icks or discomforts so they don’t accidentally cross them, and some of our boundaries are pretty specific or odd. We do know when to shut our mouth and keep things close, but we tend to be more open to speaking on our trauma than most.

hi. we read your opinion post on why adhd/autistic systems splut fictives so easily, and we have a question. what about autistics who don't mask? i never learned to mask. i tried learning in middle school, but i gave up after a week cuz it was too tiring.

in our system of 9(or 10. one alter may be dormant/fused) we have 4 introjects and 5(or 6) originals.

we just wanna hear your opinion, since your post was surrounded on neurodivergent introject heavy systems who mask their nd-ness.

I went back and read the post and wow we really did lay heavily into masking. Our mistake, we mask almost all the time and sometimes forget not everyone does. (Before I go any farther I just want to remind people that this is our own personal opinion, not fact. It’s simply based on personal experience or things we’ve seen several other systems talk about. Also, we are currently running off of very little sleep when writing this so we’re sorry if it’s written or conveyed in a weird way.)

I’m going to point at the spot where we explained that all alters are formed through introjection. Even singlets have their fair share of introjection. It’s not just a system trait. The things with systems is that sometimes our traits don’t come from several different sources, it can come from one or a few very specific sources. People who hyperfixate or have special interests tend to be hot wired to one source of entertainment to begin with, so ADHD/Autistic system brains probably don’t think to look for traits outside of their current constant intake from one source. There’s also the fact that people with ADHD/Autism usually find comfort in their current hyperfixations or special interests, so a system might decided comfort is the best way to handle a situation and split an comfort introject.

Splitting a “comfort” introject is 100% a plausible thing that happens. If a system is under stress or is going through trauma, it’s possible that the brain decides comfort is the best way to handle it and splits an alter specifically for that. As an AuDHD system, we’ve had personal experience with comfort splits. We have a very bad habit of using our hyperfixations as escape mechanisms so when we get overly stressed or go through something traumatic our brain handles it by trying to make our hyperfixations real. Our problem with this is that our introjects then tend to be very connected to their source and it’s hard to get them source separated, but that’s for a different post.

This is kind of just me ranting about how a fandom treats a system-coded character and how I have a love hate relationship with it, so don’t mind it if you aren’t interested in reading about FNAF or my own personal opinions on it.

I sometimes forget the fact that the canonical version of the Daycare Attendant in FNAF: SB plays right into harmful DID/OSDD stereotypes. One, because they’re a sub-system within my system and have source memories completely different from canon. Two because I have tried over and over to figure out ways in canon that they are a system where Moon isn’t actually playing into the evil alter stereotype. It’s a comfort thing, I know, for both me and them, but in a way I feel like that’s hurting the community. So many people online say “don’t headcanon this character as having DID/OSDD or you’re a bad person for pushing harmful stereotypes”.

I myself am part of a system. I know how detrimental these types of stereotypes are. I’ve actively seen people, in real life, fear systems because of something stupid they saw in media. I don’t want to say “this is system-coded” about potentially harmful media. But at the same time, Moon Knight is the best representation we have out there. One of the only good representations I should say, and even that was dramatically overdone to keep viewers watching. When I find a piece of media that I can see as being DID/OSDD coded, I have a bad habit of latching on and not letting go because seeing that representation is just rare. So when I saw Sun and Moon I just clicked. It didn’t help that I was going through my system discovering around the games release date and it was probably the first time I saw a piece of media (outside of the movie we all hate with a passion) that had hints of DID/OSDD representation.

I am 100% on board with saying that singlets shouldn’t headcanon characters as DID/OSDD coded. I feel like that really should be true for any mental disorder. If you don’t have it, you don’t get a say in how it’s represented. But at the same time, I don’t think we should be attacking people over it when they aren’t even thinking about how Moon acted. Most people who see multiple people in one body are going to think of DID. Most people don’t even know the evil alter stereotypes exists, because they don’t engage in system spaces. I certainly didn’t, not until we started engaging in them. Being rude to people who genuinely meant no harm is just going to make us look bad. You can still say “hey, as a system, here’s why this is wrong”, but don’t start saying that you hate everyone who does it and harass them over it. If they continue to push it, that’s a different story, but most people are genuinely shocked when I explain to them that certain characters are terrible representations of DID/OSDD.

Anyways, I also hate the fact that there’s no representation of Sun and Moon being a system in the fan base either. I’ve seen several systems who claim Sun and Moon as a system for comfort reasons, but I never see them try to fix the bad part of the representation. If there was an AU where the bad parts of the representation were fixed I’d latch onto it in a heartbeat. I honestly don’t see why people don’t do that. Tell people what’s wrong, fix it, and then give them a version that they are able to actually see and understand. Make sure they don’t advertise the actual canon as having good representation, but there’s a really good AU to look into if you are looking for good representation.

​Reestablishing that THE CANON IS DEFINITELY BAD REPRESENTATION!!!!!!! I do not support calling the canon representation. I just wish there was more fanon representation, because seeing them as DID/OSDD coded brings us, as a system, comfort. On a funny note, the first thing I heard Eddie say when he was back in front was “oh fuck, I’m back”, and I wasn’t prepared to hear the word fuck because Sun hates cussing so I froze in utter shock

Genuine question

Why is it that when we hyperfixate on a piece of media we have introjects from, those introjects become frontstuck for the first few days of the hyperfixation? We’re hyperfixated on FNAF: SB again and Sun and Moon have been frontstuck for three days straight. No one else has been able to access the front. Eddie was pretty much just let back into front, and he’s a co-host. This happens every time. Does this happen to any other system?

I sometimes question if I’m a terrible person, someone who can never be seen as good and will forever been seen as an evil monster.

I remind myself that that is my trauma talking, and I am a beautiful living creature who, despite all the scarring, is thriving outside of the pain I used to feel daily.

You are not broken or cursed or damned. A seed must first crack to become the flower it was meant to be. You are simply feeling the growing pains.
