System HOT takes!
Little alters can do adult task, such as buying things, paying bills, driving, and working.
Fictives are not the exact character from source, and treating them as such is actually more harmful than not.
Persecutor alters are not 'evil'. They are just extremely hurt and misunderstood, and to treat them as 'evil' + to demonize them to yourself and others is extremely harmful and is something that can stunt or even prevent healing.
Systems that claim they 'created all their alters by their own will' are not real systems. Those are fakers. You cannot create alters by will, and you cannot create / become a system by will. Trauma causes systems.
Approximately half ( or more than half ) of 'systems' that you'll see online are not real systems. They are simply people who either followed the DID / OSDD / system faking trend, or they are normal people who joined online spaces during covid and tried to fit in via claiming to be disabled when they very clearly are just faking.
Having DID / OSDD is not an excuse to be horrid towards others, and using alters as an excuse for abusive or harmful behavior shows lack of basic human decency and lack of care for others.
Alters form from trauma, extreme emotions, or distressing and stressful environments or scenarios. Alters do NOT form because you like a piece of media, because you watched an episode of a show, because you enjoy a character, or because you decided to 'make an alter'.
'Source memories' for fictives are not real. The alter was never the character in the show - they are a part of your own mind. While psudomemories - memories of trauma which may somewhat mirror what happens to a character in a piece of fictional media and are therefore sometimes masked as an event from said media - having actual memories from source is something fictives can't have, as they are not actually fictional characters.
Here's a hot take, that isnt just half regurgitated shit from your post.
Non systems like yourself need to shut the fuck up about syscourse and fake claiming other systems.
Hope this helps.
