Letter to my Father.
Dearest Father. King of my heart. Today marks 366 days since the day you were taken away from me. Words cannot begin to describe the sadness and emptiness I feel when I think of your absence. The hardest year of my life.
A person shouldn’t be able to feel so much pain and still live to speak of it. But here we are, a year later, and I’m a completely different person, a stronger person. Yet another testament to what an amazing father you were.
When people talk about you, you bring tears to their eyes. And as odd as it sounds, their tears make me smile. I smile because they truly miss you. I smile because you have made an impact on their lives. Our sadness is shared because our love for you shared as well and it makes me so proud to be your daughter.
Thank you for teaching me to be strong. Thank you for teaching me to be grateful for what I have. And thank you for simply loving me.
I love you.
I miss you.
Forever your little girl.
How does it feel knowing you're disposable?
