Love your horse. Always.

Learn to turn a negative into a positive.

Practice mutual respect between you and the horse.

Your horse is a herd, prey animal. Do not forget that. 

Always double check tack before riding.

Less is more. 

Close what you open, put back what you borrow, etc.

When in doubt, always ask rather than assume. 

Believe in yourself.
