But wait! There’s MORE!
Always reblog
what happened in roughly 1870 though
why was there temporary internet
with a few people searching for pokemon?
It’s a search of Google books, but the question still stands, what the Fuck happened in 1870
I CAN ANSWER THIS!!
In the Cornish dialect of English, Pokemon meant ‘clumsy’ (pure coincidence).
In the mid 1800s there was a surge of writing about the Cornish language and dialect in an attempt to preserve them with glossaries and dictionaries being written. I wrote about it HERE.
I just love that this post happened to find the ONE HUMAN ON THE INTERNET who had the answer to this question
Find someone who sends you silly pictures because they know they are safe with you and will be appreciated no matter how ugly they think those pictures are. Find someone who calls you randomly because they want to tell you about a recent occasion or just to hear your voice. Find somone who compliments you and really means it, who shows effort and reassurance. Find someone who opens up to you and can bloom around you. Find someone who desires you, not just your body but also your soul. Find someone who is up to random ideas because they know that life is short and time is precious.
i cannot say that I’m in love with life, but I am filled with love every second of every day, even beneath anger, and refuse to become jaded by tragedy
why I like stuffed animals and plushies

you don’t have to talk to them for them to love you
you can talk to them and they won’t interrupt
you can sleep with all of them at once
they don’t have phones they are just physically there for you
best quarantine friends
If you’ve never seen “Mononoke Dance” (and it’s no longer on youtube) here you go and even if you’re put off by it please please hold out for the final twist
give em the ol’ razzle dazzle
Been experiencing two polar thoughts about this scene…
1. There is no way Sokka is expecting to win this battle. He is the one and only warrior left in the village, about to face down a Fire Nation ship all by himself. Sokka has been the epitome of bravery since the very beginning.
2. Sokka can’t draw worth shit, and yet he sure can perfectly apply war paint on himself without even so much as a mirror aksdflj
you tried your best lotad and that’s what counts.
