“You’re such a bean! It’s a fantastic thing. You’re adorable, Oswald.”
“Being a bean is equated to being adorable?” He paused. “And I’m not adorable... I’m terrifying.” He squinted.

“You’re such a bean! It’s a fantastic thing. You’re adorable, Oswald.”
“Being a bean is equated to being adorable?” He paused. “And I’m not adorable... I’m terrifying.” He squinted.
“I don’t think you should worry too much about it.”
“Ah... yeah. I guess you’re right.”

“I, um… I think it’s a good thing. It’s definitely not bad. I think it just means you’re tall. Which isn’t bad,” Nate said with a small smile.
“Ohh... That makes sense.”
“Human bean? Maybe it is a good thing? You might have to get a second opinion on that one though.”
“Well, I’m shit out of luck, aren’t I?”
“And how old are you supposed to be?”
“I’m 36...”
“I suppose it could really be either. But most likely it’s bad.”
“Well, shit...”
“Can’t help you there, I have no idea what that could mean, sorry. Hopefully it means, really cool person?”
“Maybe they meant, like... I-I dunno’, a bean pole? I don’t get this young people lingo.”
“Are you sure you just didn’t mishear them say human being?”
“Positive. They said, and I quote-- that guy is an actual human bean, oh my god.”
“Someone called me a human bean today... I-I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing.” He paused. “Do you know?”
Happy Autumn. The gloomiest time of year! Oh, joy!

“Me too, but some people just don’t understand.” She smiled softly as she spoke.
“Most people do not understand art.”
elliehxlms:
“Jasmine green tea it is.” Ellie grinned as she removed one tea bag and returned all the other boxes to the cabinet. “What do you like in your tea?” She inquired as she checked her electric kettle “Nearly done.” She commented, pulling a mug out of a different cabinet.
“If you have cubes... one sugar cube... if not, I-I, uh...” He sputtered and paused to think for a moment. “A teaspoon of sugar?”
Misty+Oswald | Blaring Speakers, Blinding Lights
thescottishdeejay:
She finished off her set with one of her favorite songs - a remix to Bastille’s Of the Night. She loved this song, because of the energy that always surrounded it. The crowd always went wild, as it was one of her classics, and she could even see Oswald start to get into it, out of the corner of her eye. When her set finished, and someone else played simple top hits, she walked back to Oswald, ready for his judgement.
Misty had finished and made her way towards him-- but he was already back at the bar, with another gin and tonic in hand. He smiled wildly at her. Clearly, he was off his rocker. “That was surprisingly good!” He called out over the blaring music that continued on even after her set. “Water?” He held up the clear glass of liquid to her-- it was far from water, but he’d removed the orange peal and forgotten all together that it was an alcoholic beverage. He then remembered and made an ‘o’ shape with his mouth, hoping that she would either cringe at the strong taste or simply know right off the bat that it was gin. He laughed a bit, mouth still in an ‘o’ shape and eyes wide with his brows raised. “Shit, I’m sorry...! But you can have it, I’ll just get another!” He was in too deep by this point in time. Turning back to the bar, he slurred just in the slightest as he ordered a shot of tequila-- Oz then changed his mind and ordered two. When they arrived, limes at the ready, he handed the small shot glass to Misty and held his own up, taking his lime in the other hand.
“Bottoms up!” He clinked his glass with hers.

“Any kind? Do you have a preference or a favorite at all?” She inquired as she pulled out a few different types of tea “I have…. aged earl grey, white tea with orange, jasmine green tea with lemon, and then just your average black tea.” Ellie batted her lashes at him, holding a box in each hand “I like tea.”
“Jasmine green tea sounds marvelous.” He concluded with a nod. She then batted her long lashes and made a comment. Oz cleared his throat and nodded yet again, twiddling his thumbs. “Right... u-uh, me too.”
madlen-evans:
“Yes, it does. But what I mean is that not everyone has an open mind about art in general so some people might look at a painting of mine and know exactly what I meant when I painted it, and someone could just think it’s a smudge. You know?” She nodded, and played a little with her fingers as she spoke.
“That’s entirely understandable. I find all forms of art beautiful, one way or another.” He shrugged.
