ive been thinking about palestine all night and i desperately need to ramble about his parallels with ukraine so fucking bad. bare with me.

they are so similar yet so different.

with ukraine his hatred is raw. its burning. its this sense of complete and utter betrayal from family that manifests in pure unbridled rage towards russia. all these buildup resentments over the years on both sides have boiled over and now hes using all his strength to fight back. and hes stronger than russia expected. and he gets a sick kick out of the confused terrified expression on russias face when he is unprepared and losing. because this is resistance.

with palestine his rage is numb and aching. it hurts and eats at him from the inside and feels like hunger. like starvation. and he just keeps getting beaten down over and over and over again but he keeps getting up. because he doesnt hate Him enough to let him take his identity away from him. he will cling to it like a lifeline and it will keep him alive like a cockroach. because he refuses to be beaten into full submission. to give up completely. because despite the numb hatred he still stands. this is resistance.
