Kouta’s sudden appearance in front of her caught her briefly off guard as their noses quickly brushed against one another. There was a small flicker of a smile that tugged at the corner of her lips. “You’re such a sap,” she mocked, even if her tone nor look matched the taunt.

"Yeah yeah yeah..." he mocked her in return as he continued to softly brush his nose with her. His tone sarcastic but still a hint of affection and playfulness, his voice soft and gentle. He was known for being very sarcastic, moody, and even having a lousy attitude. Some might say he was the King Of Self-Deprecating humor. That's how shot his confidence and view of himself were. That is until he met Loly. He knew she had suffered and gone through her own share of hardships. Mostly at the hands of Aizen. And yet somehow he wanted to protect her and keep her safe. Maybe it was that she was much smaller than him. Maybe he thought of her as a kindred spirit who suffered like him. Either way, he was absolutely enamored by her and wanted to always be near the female Arrancar. A Shinigami reject who had been banished from Soul Society along with Urahara's gang hooking up with an Arrancar...what a twist!

"I don't see you complaining at all." he said as he intertwined his fingers with hers. He found her very beautiful and her sarcastic personality was quite charming. "I'm very happy I met you and you took a chance on somebody like me." he said as he lowered his head quite a bit and softly rested his forehead against hers.

Hidy ho, everyone. Just popping in to say hi and see how everyone is doing. A ton has happened since I was last here.

We had to say goodbye to our Lobo back in May. It was simply time to let him go and cross the rainbow bridge. It still hurts making the call to say goodbye and let him go. But I hope I did him right and gave him the best life a dog could ever hope for. He was with us since 2012 and he was 14 years old. Almost 15! Rest in peace, buddy. I will see you again on the other side.

On to some more positive news; I received my PTCB certification in July and I am now a nationally certified pharmacy technician which will help me in the future with my career. Which leads me into my next bit of good news. After dating @mz-pixie / @wavesofgravity / @mz-pixies-playhouse / @midncghtxcat for over a year now, I took the plunge and made the decision to leave my home for practically my entire life until now of San Diego, California and join her in Orlando, Florida. We had officially been doing the long distance dating thing since August of last year which was also the very first time we met in person ever. We had been together ever since. Even taking turns flying back and forth between San Diego and Orlando to see each other every few months. It just became too much after a while and with the support of my entire family and all my friends, I took the leap and decided to start a new life and join her here in Orlando to pursue a future together at the end of August. Her family has also fully welcomed me into the tribe which definitely helped make the drastic transition much more bearable and not feel so alone away from family. But my family has also welcomed her with warm arms into our family in return. She even got to meet my relatives including my grandmother back in July. We traveled to Hendersonville, NC with her family that first week I arrived, experienced our first hurricanes together (Helene and Milton), our first Thanksgiving together, and are in the middle of enjoying our first holidays together. Although I will be returning to San Diego for Christmas to spend with my family while she stays here to spend it with hers, it's only for a few days and I will be right back. My parents are already planning to fly down for a visit in March-April. Full speed ahead with a brand new beginning!

Heaven forbid he somehow trigger this electrical but vain beast of battle who could go off at the slightest transgression. He was half expecting her to zap him right then and there.

Just popping in to say Hello. Sorry for the major lack of activity lately. Muse has been a bit spotty across all blogs lately. Everything is going great, meeting @mz-pixie finally was amazing, and I have a girlfriend now. 🙃

Oh, so that’s the case. That’s why she’s so stressed about this situation. He had assumed that it was just her still adjusting to the ways of humans and exaggerating things as usual. But this certainly changed things. He himself knew all about waiting in long lines for exclusive items or merchandise. He looked back at Candice and was actually made uncomfortable by seeing her pacing around and aggressively scratching her arm like that. It was a little distressing to say the least to see her, a thunderous beast of battle like her behaving like a panicked child. He approached her and swatted her hand away from scratching at her arm. Not an aggressive swat but more of a light shove.

“Stop that shit. That’s enough. You’re gonna scratch yourself raw.” he said to her, while grumbling something else to himself. “Calm the fuck down and let’s go figure this shit out, okay? Maybe we can still get some more of that candy. Or maybe…..” he trailed off as he clearly thought of something.

The shove would’ve set her off, but the slight graze of her nails to her arm after all that scratching was enough to make a hiss from her. Looking down at it, the most now she could do is look away, ashamed of her poor control, covering her inflamed arm with her other hand. She feels desperate, vulnerable. And she hates it. She hates that he of all people saw her this low. But all she can do is attempt to be better than this.

❝ Or maybe what. Spit it out, you have an idea. Tell me or I’m going to fry your bones. ❞ Another threat, though this one was empty. Whether he knew or not was not her concern. If he had a way to help, she needed it. She can’t afford to fry his bones even if she wanted to; if he actually has an idea, she’s at his mercy.

He simply just growled loudly. The irritation very obvious in his voice as it rumbled in his throat at her impatience. But also he knew that her threat didn't mean much. Not in this moment when she desperately needed his help. Oh, how he would keep this incident on his back pocket to rub in her face whenever he wanted to. Of course he knew that would piss her off and she'd likely attack him. Worst case scenario; he could probably tank some of her electrical attacks just like how he did during their first encounter back during the war. And that was with her trying to actually kill him! Best case scenario; she lets him off with a vulger tongue lashing that leaves him completely speechless.

"What I was going to say is this. You haven't thrown away those candies yet, right? I got a machine downstairs in my workshop that might help. I normally use it to help duplicate my snacks to avoid having to purchase them." he explained. "If you managed to save some of those candies, I might be able to replicate them. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the real thing."
