Tbh it's crazy to me that Christina Koch hasn't been getting more attention. Like, especially with the bookclub reading about Sally Ride right now–it's so wierd to see the shift in interest. Sally was the first American women in space, which is still an amazing accomplishment, but there had already been 2 cosmonauts before her. There has Never Been a women from Any Country outside of low-earth orbit. Christina will be the First. but Artemis 2 is still barely even heard of outside of circles already interested in science and spaceflight.
