​He would always come back, always pull me back into the heart of whatever strain of human life he wove for himself.  It was through him I had lost the start of a perspective of his kind that would have been detrimental; scurrying ants. It was an illusion of normality, a taste of something long past. I knew that it was only that… the illusion, but it was a process spurred by him that ordered my universe to be well. It gave me moments of what it was to be alive on this planet.  The snatches of rushed emotions between us were the most potent reminders and memories I could recall on this world. It was exploring a new layer of self simply to respond to him.
