I figure out I had ADHD last year, but I didn’t seek an official diagnosis and medication until this year. I’m 30 years old, my school days are long behind me. I slipped through the cracks because I have predominately inattentive type and I was a quiet little girl. Having ADHD does not mean you have to be hyperactive and loud, it means you have a processing problem in your brain that doesn’t allow you to regulate your focus or emotions.
Mental health even now is still taboo to talk about. People are more open now than ever about it however and that gives me hope.
This is a profoundly personal comic and it only reflects my own experience with ADHD. It is on a spectrum with a wide range of personalities. But if my story connects with someone else and helps them, that would mean the world to me.
Who shot the two Black children in CHOP/CHAZ? They were both younger than Trayvon Martin. The 16 year old died and the 14 year old was threatened with a pistol whip.

While it is key to popularize masking up, there must also be a culture created against filming during protest.
There is nothing intersectional about participating in and maintaining a genocidal political system. There’s no meaningful solidarity to be found in a politics that urges us to meet our oppressors where they’re at. Voting as harm reduction imposes a false solidarity upon those identified to be most vulnerable to harmful political policies and actions. In practice it plays out as paternalistic identity politicking as liberals work to identify the least dangerous candidates and rally to support their campaigns. The logic of voting as harm reduction asserts that whoever is facing the most harm will gain the most protection by the least dangerous denominator in a violently authoritarian system. This settler-colonial naivety places more people, non-human beings, and land at risk then otherwise. Most typically the same liberal activists that claim voting is harm reduction are found denouncing and attempting to suppress militant direct actions and sabotage as acts that “only harm our movement.” “Voting as harm reduction” is the pacifying language of those who police movements.
Voting as harm reduction is the government issued blanket of the democratic party, we’re either going to sleep or die in it.

"I’ve always felt pressured to celebrate the elections. I grew up undocumented and Latinx in a home where celebrating American culture meant praising everything that Americans did. My decision not to vote for a president isn’t complicated. I’m not a registered voter. I’m also not a citizen, which makes not voting for president in the upcoming election a whole lot easier. But, to be honest, I wouldn’t vote even if I could.
The current president of the United States deported more people than any president before him. He just recently unleashed a wave of raids targeting migrant children and families — something he had previously promised that he would never ever do. President Obama is, however, just one of many anti-immigrant politicians in a legacy of ongoing raids and violence against my communities.
As far as I’m concerned, every single person running in the current presidential elections is just another future deporter, another future murderer. Between Sanders’ plan to “promote cooperation between immigrants and local law enforcement” and Clinton’s oh-so-benevolent plan to “conduct humane, targeted immigration enforcement“, Democratic candidates are quietly and politely saying what Donald Trump has been yelling all along: “A nation without borders is not a nation.” And in this short statement, Trump encompasses what all politicians agree on: this nation was built for many people, but not for all, and certainly not for me."

A recent study attempts to quantify the extent of trans discrimination when it comes to romantic and sexual relationships.
Virtually all heterosexuals excluded trans folks from their dating pool: only 1.8% of straight women and 3.3% of straight men chose a trans person of either binary gender. But most non-heterosexuals weren’t down for dating a trans person either, with only 11.5% of gay men and 29% of lesbians being trans-inclusive in their dating preferences.
50% of the trans-inclusive straight women and 28% of the trans-inclusive gay men were willing to date a trans woman, even though one wouldn’t expect either straight women or gay men to be attracted to women. Similarly, 50% of trans-inclusive straight men and 69% of trans-inclusive lesbians said they’d date a trans man, even though both groups are presumably only attracted to women. And 33% of the trans-inclusive bisexual/queer participants said they would only date a trans person of one gender but not the other, even though one may expect this group to be attracted to multiple genders.
28% of trans-inclusive bisexual/queer/nonbinary folks and 38% of trans-inclusive lesbians said they wouldn’t date a trans woman — only a trans man. There was no similar discrimination against trans men among those expected to be attracted to men: 0% of trans-inclusive gay men and only 5% of trans-inclusive bisexual/queer/nonbinary folks excluded trans men from their dating pool.
Where “white trans people” includes white transmen and white nb people

IMPORTANT NEWS ON THE FAR RIGHT FIFTH COLUMN: DOMINICA
http://www.dominicapatriot.com/dominica-why-an-election-in-a-small-caribbean-state-could-be-pivotal/
Recent events around the world have awful resemblance to color revolutions known to the modern world. It seems as if one is possibly underway in Wai'tu kubuli (Dominica).
There were riots calling for election reform. The UWP is the conservative party of Wai'tu kubuli, and Labour, a social democratic party with socially conservative ideals relative to Amerika.
Many diaspora from Wai'tu kubuli believe Skerrit (Labour) has been in power too long, as if that matters— perceived by many UWP voters and agitators as a socialist dictator despite his capitalist tendencies. They accuse him of "giving free money away" to bribe domestic citizens to vote Labour. He is currently working on making the island the first hurricane-proof sovereignty in the world's existence.
Most domestic citizens are Labourites, while most UWP members are diaspora in Canada, England, and Amerika.
Currently, overseas citizens are allowed to vote on the island, which results in imperialism, as the cultural mindset of those who left often times gives way to the imperialist attitudes and modes of economic analysis of the countries they move to, if they didn't already have those ideals before moving. This includes Kalinago peoples such as myself: descendents of a surviving genocided peoples victim to white supremacy and thus capitalism.
This year, Dominicans were allowed to become Russian citizens. Last Year, China had its first military excercise in the Caribbean via its navy.

Skerrit and the PRC have been developing close ties, as Dominica has even recognized the principle of One China.

Most people who are buying land to build apartments and businesses in dominica and thus given citizenship (citizenship by investment program) are wealthy Arabs and Chinese people. If this isn't neocolonialism then I can't know what is. All landlords are capitalists.

At the same time, Dominic's wildlife is threatened by imperialist actions and Skerrit's compliance with them, such as him giving away our beloved sisserou parrot, only found here, to a German animal smuggler, or his dealings with the Clinton Foundation, during which Bill Clinton's visit and live stream event consisted of marketers on the live feed asking viewers for donations to "support [Bill's] trip" to Dominica, as if he couldnt afford the secret service that followed him there...
