I will always hate that the words "pedophile" and "pedophilia" have become so misused by the terminally online idiots of the Internet. It is one of many things that frustrates me about the modern world. It is not just ableist. It is dangerous. I hate how normalized it is.

Being an Age Regressor is not pedophilia. Being Babycore is not pedophilia. Being Kidcore is not pedophilia. Being into diapers is not pedophilia. Playing with children's toys is not pedophilia. Watching children's shows is not pedophilia. Dating little people is not pedophilia.

You are not protecting children. You are not helping victims. You are not helping survivors. You are putting vulnerable people in potential danger. You are being an absolute disgrace. Do you know what is actually an example of pedophilia in the real world? Sexualizing children and child characters. It is why lolicon is a serious issue. It is better to fight real problems in the real world than to create problems that do not actually exist.

As a young autistic queer person of color, there were times in my life where I was falsely accused of being a pedophile by strangers due to either misinformation or a stupid misunderstanding. It is honestly a serious problem.

Making false allegations about people you barely know is a literal crime. It is illegal. It is a serious disaster that can ruin innocent people. I understand that rampant false accusations of pedophilia are unfortunately common in the modern world. It does not mean it is acceptable. I am not sure if it happens often to my fellow autistic people. It is exactly why my mother thinks that the Internet was a mistake. There is too much hatred and negativity online nowadays. It really needs to stop.
