Everyone knew how Cinder looked… “I think we need to upgrade from this place… then I will give you… a possible nice reward.” With that, she reached over with her regular human hand, lifting up Neo’s hat, and ran her fingers through her long locks, as a tease for whats to come before putting Roman’s hat back on her head.

“So…shall we go?” She grabbed the bag of money, then opened the door for Neo.

   Neo grinned brightly and gave a thumbs up. Anything to get them out of this shabby wreck of a hotel, plus they ha the money now, they could at least get something with two beds and no rats...she thought the ones in Vale was a horrible thing to look at. 

However what she hadn’t expected was Cinder to pull her hat up and run her fingers through his mismatched locks. 

The mute girl with still, confusion lingering in her pastel gaze before giving a hesitant nod and fixing the hat upon her head an following the Maiden out of their shabby former stay. What had that all been about....? She chose to ignore it for now...

Oh, she might be barely in the shallows, but Roman, he wanted out of the lake. These talks? Fucking hated them. Who wants to think of all that kind of crap? Not him, that’s for sure. He didn’t like going into any of that, and after nearly being digested by a Grimm, he was much less interested - which he didn’t think was possible at all.

    ‘You’re just scared because you had a near death experience.’ Neo signed back with a loud snort. Then her teasing faltered....oh yeah. That was probably why he wanted anything else as a subject to talk about. Frowning she gave a shrug and left it be. The last thing she wanted was him to remember that moment in time. Hell, she was still trying to forget it too....

‘Um...sorry for bringing it up.’ Neo mentioned after a moment of quiet between them. Man, only Roman freakin’ Torchwick could make her feel bad about anything.

Within the next moment there was the sound of a gunshot, then another, and then another as Yang seemed to be actively moving around the battlefield firing off…something. It wasn’t clear as to what but she was definitely playing the long game on this one as her semblance hadn’t even been activated yet.

“You wanted to fight, right? Then come get me!” She taunted, a sudden gunshot as she charged out from the shadows, ready to strike for real.

    Neo’s blake stood still, easing up from her defense position as she heard the gun shots going on around her. Ah...so she had changed after all. She got smart and not in a goo way.

 The mute thief could play the Huntress’s game, but she was clever enough to know it was a trap. She had live long enough under Roman’s shadow to know when she was being played, and she had no interest in ending up in a cell or a body bag.

Instead Neo snickered and rose her parasol at arms length, aiming it some with a mischievous grin on her lips. The brats weren’t the only ones to get an upgrade. She waited, listened an aimed using the same targeting reticle as Roman once had before firing off a barrage of exploding dust towards the treeline in front of her.
