[This ↑ is no longer true. His shell and Tail are still the same as that, but he now looks more like cannon everywhere else. Also, Mikey is 5'2"]

I mean, of course, he still trains, but unless he's dragged into it, he'd prefer to do anything but. Leo is the training-aholic, definitely not Mikey. Asha watches him as she co es closer. She doesn't say anything. She didn't want to disturb his focus.
{Mikey continues, surprisingly quiet and focused. It isn't until you stand there for a minute or so that he makes a sound.}

{Mikey turns his head enough to look at Asha, and he smiles at her. Though he still goes through the motions and soon turns his head back straight to keep in form.}

Asha churrs amused.
"I wanted to check on you."
She goes to his side and starts to do Katas with him.

Oh, but I did want to apologize for being gone so long.
She shakes her head gently.
"It's okay. It was kind of an emergency."
I wasn't expecting things to go the way they did, and then it got to be a lot-....
{Mikey stops talking, going quiet. If you watch him, you can see how his focused expression subtly shifts through emotions. Not easy to spot unless you're close enough and know Mikey well enough.}

Asha watches him again. Then she gently takes his hands and holding them close on her plastron.
"Talk to me. Give me your emotions...."
{Mikey looks at Asha, loosening his posture as Asha grabs his hands; he then sighs quietly and shakes his head a little.}
Not so much my emotions....
I learned quickly to filter out Aster after having to spend so much more time here, but I think some of Aster's emotions spilled out more than I was expecting while I was talking to Chiisai-

Asha watches him as she co es closer. She doesn't say anything. She didn't want to disturb his focus.

She goes to his side and starts to do Katas with him.

Chiisai is still over here. Seemingly she's still a bit exhausted as well. Her skin looks more pale, dried bloodlines are over her cheek like she cried blood...
Though, as Chiisai sees Mikey, she gives him a tired smile.
Hey, I heard you did a resurrection; you doing alright?
Chiisai just nods. Slowly, she stands up.
"They're gone.... did Aster died or..."
No, Aster is in the dojo of our lair.
And they're with him.
Her eyes widen a upon hearing the situation.
"....how did he take it...?"
Pretty well all things considered.
I thought maybe my decision to get them to see Aster wasn't the best idea at first.
I knew Aster would panic a bit; that's a given, knowing him.
But feeling everything underneath, I started to second-guess myself.
But I think it was the right choice in the end.
He deserved that chance.
The chance to hear his brothers telling him that whatever happened, wasn't his fault- that they don't blame him and that he shouldn't either.
That they still love him.
Chiisai nods and smiles. She seems to be relieved to hear that. Still, her whole body shivers for a moment before she tries to move.
"Sorry to cut that visit short, but I have to move. I don't know how much longer I can hold myself on my feet..."
Wait, what do you mean by that- are you okay?
"I'm okay. Just..."
Chiisai spaces out for a moment and you can almost hear the shutdown melody from Microsoft. After a moment she boots herself up again, focusing on Mikey.
"....tired. I needed more energy because of the merged souls..."
I think maybe you should just continue to rest.

I know that when you resurrect someone, it takes a lot of energy- especially if there isn't a body left- but it sounds like this one may have hit extra hard....
{Maybe Mikey is still more caught up in Aster's, Canna's, Ashok's, and Iris's emotions than he thought. And just maybe Aster's underlying paranoia and worry are finally seeping through to Mikey.}

Angelo still glares at Mikey. He stands up to put an arm around Chiisai and helping her over to the guest bed.
"Mikey came to check up on me and tell me where Canna and Co. are."
Chiisai chirps at him before sitting down.
Angelo nods. And he seemingly relaxes.
"...Thanks Mikey. Are they okay?"
Yeah.
They're with Aster in our lair.
But I would imagine that they'll be back with Chiisai soon enough.
Mikey hums.
"So they're not gone permanently..."
Chiisai nods. With a huff she let herself fall completely on the bed. Her eyes fight to stay open.
No, Iris said it only lasted three days.
After I caught them sneaking around.
But honestly, I was surprised they were able to move around as well as they were- especially Canna.... His shell man....
Angelo looks a bit sad and nods.
"I know... it already looks bad when he's a ghost..."
"How can he even move? How does he do that without being in pain the whole time?"
Chiisai quietly chimes in, but some words are slurred.
I guess I just never realized the damage before.

Not without pain.
But he moves on and doesn't say anything because he has to.
For his friends and his family.
