Shinsekai (新世界)
The Shinsekai district in Osaka, Japan. The word ‘Shinsekai’ means a ‘new world’ in Japanese, but what the place offers is an old world nostalgia of post-World War II Japan, with its old shops, Japanese street-food restaurants with traditional lanterns and a laid back retro atmosphere.
