always funny to remember darth vader is anakin skywalker. the adrenaline junkie chucklefuck who used to dive head first out of speeders and built a pod racer in his yard when he was like six is now upper-middle management for the evil empire. half of his appearances in the original trilogy are Meetings. vader spends like 80% of his time dealing with bureaucratic bullshit. status updates. team meetings. holo-Zooms. budget rundowns. anakin betrayed the jedi and caused the fall of the republic and his punishment is being CC'd on every email forever. and you know what. he would hate that. the punishment fits the criminal
this is the most underrated part of rockin’ and rollin’ yoda
Luke’s face is what makes this.
For today’s lucky 10k who have not seen the sacred texts – enjoy. It will be stuck in your head for a while.
THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU (2026) dir. Jon Favreau
Luke Skywalker put away his targeting computer to destroy the Death Star so I don't need AI to help me write an email.
Do you recognize this TV theme song? #588

If you can’t find a place on your blog for Patrick Stewart in a bathtub dressed like a lobster, then your blog probably doesn’t deserve such majesty anyway.
It has returned to my dash and I cannot fight the compulsion to reblog…
the patrick lobster appears only once in a thousand years, reblog for good luck
On a very special lost episode of DS9. When a single Dad and his son come through the Wormhole, Worf learns that not all pointy ears are Vulcan, not everyone green is Orion, and all babies are hungry!
padmé art study sketch!
No surprise that Jon Favreau reached out to Roy Choi to come up with an actual sandwich for a scene in The Mandalorian and Grogu. It was great seeing these guys cook together again. I need to rewatch The Chef Show.
P.S. I'm betting some sauteed kimchi might be a nice substitute for the grilled onions.
Sauteed kimchi is amazing in grilled cheese.

Watched some bbc sherlock and thought this conversation from S3E3 was quite fitting for these gentlemen
Some people want Star Wars to be about "anyone can be a hero" but I think it's more accurate to say it's about anyone can be a villain —but no one has to be. Like Luke could have easily fallen to the dark side but he made the choice to reject acting out of anger, to lay down his weapon, to reach out to his father instead. And Anakin has good intentions but still does tremendous evil but he doesn't have to stay that way, he too can still choose good in the end. Anyone can become a villain but no one has to be one, even someone who has fallen already.

“Only on a planet such as Coruscant, with no forests left, no mountains unleveled, no streams left to run their own course, could the Force have become so clouded.”
Star Wars: Yoda - Dark Rendezvous
Cal is briefly mentioned in the updated edition of "Star Wars: The Secrets of the Jedi" as one of the survivors of Order 66.
He worked with both the Partisans and the Hidden Path (plus all those Imperial wanted posters) so it makes sense that Luke eventually learns about him. I doubt there's any further implication here: it's a nice reference and helps connect all these Star Wars characters across the galaxy.
Yes we're all very excited for Jedi 3, but until then, Cal is Schrodinger's Jedi and will not be contained by our theories (hah)
