Pictograph caves in Montana. The paintings were all faded and barely visible but an incredible place all the same. Some of the paintings were made as long as 2000 years ago. #roadtrip #montana #cave #pictograph #history (at Pictograph Cave)

Amazing views driving through Wyoming today. #wyoming #roadtrip (at Wyoming)
Yeast farts bubbling up in the dandelion wine with ginger. #homebrew #ginger #yeastfarts
This picture doesn’t even come close but it was an incredible sunrise this morning. Feeling pretty lucky to see this. Makes sleeping on the ground in the rain and a 0500 wake up totally worth it. #appalachiantrail #backpacking #sunrise (at Appalachian Trail - The Pinnacle)
Not a bad view for dinner tonight. #appalachiantrail #camping #backpacking (at Appalachian Trail - The Pinnacle)
See those little guys there? Those are my hops finally coming in! Beer is growing right before my eyes... #hops #homebrew #beer

Not an easy climb but the views were well worth it. #lehighvalley #appalachiantrail #lehighgap #hiking (at Lehigh Gap, Pennsylvania)
Phase one complete. Starting the road to the Marine Corps Marathon in October. (at Prince William County, Virginia)
Getting some good education on hand tools. I’ve got a handful of projects in mind and really want to learn how to do more by hand rather than power tools. It’s slower and requires much more patience but I think it’s worth it. Using a hand tool leaves more of ‘you’ in the project than a power tool ever could. #woodworking #handcrafted #makethings
Made some delicious baguettes this morning. #bread #baking #baguette #sourdough
A couple little projects from today. I had some scraps I’ve been meaning to put to use for a while now. A small cheeseboard, cheese knife and a set of coasters. White oak and black walnut. #woodworking cheeseboard #carving #oak #walnut
Nice snowy hike today. I wasn’t planning on going far but once I started walking I found myself wandering a bit. A couple stream crossings, found a shelter I built a few years ago, fell more than once, and brought in some incredible scenery. It was a good day. (at Trexler Nature Preserve)
Brew day! Trying out a SMASH brew this time. Two 2.5 gallon batches one with cascade hops the other Kent Golding hops so I can hopefully pick up on the characteristics of each. #homebrew #beer #hops #kentgolding #cascadehops

Mmmmm...
Really nice hike out at Beltzville State Park today. Made some coffee, walked on a frozen lake, and got a little bit lost towards the end. Perfect day. (at Beltzville State Park)
Whatever Riley Ockerman happens to be interested in at the moment. Maybe motorcycles, gardening, knives, cooking, wine making, the weather or burritos. He's a dabbler.
One of the first big woodworking projects I undertook. It was a real challenge and while there are many things I’d do differently on another one I think it turned out all right.
