Perhaps I care far too much about answers but why does Zampanio want observers to live a long life
There's a lot of theories floating around out there.
The one most compelling to me is... Well. We all know that Zampanio is a fandom without a center, right? There probably IS no game called Zampanio... THEREFORE, Zampanio is an idea that ONLY lives within the minds of the people engaging with it. There's no dusty board game someone can dig up in 50 years. No miraculously working game boy cartridge that hasn't yet run out of battery. It's just.... us?
So BECAUSE you know about Zampanio, it wants you to live, for the same reason that no one wants their house to fall over.
The meme is "Zampanio needs you to live a long, healthy life".
Not want. Need.
And its important to keep BOTH readings of it mind. * You are needed live a long, healthy life, for Zampanio. * Zampanio will live a long, healthy life, as long as it has you, which is needed to accomplish this. Basically a cognitive parasite, right? Of course, the mundane explanation is less fun, but I mean, memes are the dna of the soul right? Can't exactly have an idea live without a host. Actually take it back, the mundane version still sounds like a cognitive parasite.
