OTP Month Day 5

Theme: Adorable

Series: Shippu! Iron Leaguer

Ship: GZ/Ryuuken

GZ knew he was staring at the others, trying figure out this strange feeling he had for them. Or at least figure out what it was that he thought he felt. Sure he cared for them, but it was something about them that he just couldn’t place his finger on.

His current target was Ryuuken, who was helping the human children bake some sweets. He frowned as Ryuuken laughed merrily as the kids tried to start a little food fight. There was that strange sensation again. What was it he couldn’t place his finger on....though he did notice a figure leaning over his shoulder; a quick glance as Top Joy was just grinning widely.

“The way you’re pouting is cute!” Top Joy giddily said, looking over at Ryuuken and the kids. “And the way he smiles is as equally adorable!”

“C-cute?” GZ echoed, looking over at the basketball leaguer before looking over at Ryuuken. “Do I....really give that sort of feeling off?”

“Sometimes....though...hold on, kids,” the karate leaguer said, moving around the counter and getting to GZ’s level, making his circuits warm up quicker. His kind smile was radiant as he moved closer and kissed his cheek. The older mech sputtered as Ryuuken chuckled softly. “You definitely look cute when you’re flustered like that!” he said, going back to his original spot as the kids giggled at the reaction.

GZ huffed, glaring at the ground before noticing that Top Joy was still right by him looking ecstatic. “What are you looking so giddy about?”

“You really do look cute!” he squealed, quickly moving out of the way when GZ tried to grab him. “W-wait! I meant that as a good thing!”

“Let me show you how ‘cute’ I can be!”

“You didn’t do this to Ryuuken!”

Ryuuken shook his head with a smile as he listened to the two escape the kitchen as the kids looked up at him. “Love the mech, but he can be so dense sometimes...”

OTP Month Day 4

Theme: White

Series: Shippu! Iron Leaguer

Ship: Poly-Cast (before GZ joins)

White was something that Top Joy thought he would see last as his sensors and oil had started to freeze out there in the arctic. The concerned faces of his team fill his vision instead as the group hovered over him. Could he even call them his team? He’s done nothing but cause pain...

Once the group had started moving again back to the ship, Top Joy stayed quiet as he shivered, the other five staying close to him to help keep the warmth going. “Guys...why did you save me?” he asked. “You could’ve just....taken the Hyper Nitro and left me there...”

Magnum blinked in surprised, looking at the others who were just as shocked. “Because you’re our friend, remember?” he pointed out, Top Joy shaking his head.

“But why?! I was working for Dark! I was trying to hurt you and-and you’re just forgiving me, just like that??”

Bull Armor placed a hand on his shoulder, nudging him so they could keep moving. “Top Joy, actions speak louder than words...yes we’re still hurt...but you risked your life trying to get something so important to us so we have a chance....the least we could do is give you one.”

The others nodded in agreement, even Ryuuken leaning over and giving him a quick kiss to his cheek. “We love you, Top Joy and nothing will change that...I promise you.”

“Though, can we hurry up to the ship? I’m freezing my oil out here!” Windy groaned, trying to move faster with the group laughing as they sped up so they could get to the warmth of the ship.

Top Joy was the last to climb onto the ship feeling a mix of emotions as he stared at the entrance: nervous as he was offered a hand up by Jyuurouta, grateful for the warmth he could feel from everyone as he was pulled inside, and loved, truly loved by the members of Silver Castle.

OTP Month Day 3

Theme: Red

Series: Shippu! Iron Leaguer

Ship: one-sided Windy/Magnum

Windy wasn’t sure when he started liking the color red. Well, he thought it was alright when he first joined Silver Castle several months ago, but recently he seemed drawn to it. So he asked Coach if he knew anything about colors and got the following as the answer:

Red was a symbol of good luck (at least in Asia), as well as the symbol of adventure, danger...

Sure, that could mean anything, but he did notice that one person on the team, out of all the mechs he’s met that matched that description: Magnum Ace. Well, sure, Bull Armor could be the same, but Magnum was the starting point, the reason why he joined, why any of them joined Silver Castle.

Maybe that’s why Coach also told him that red was also the color of ‘passionate love’, to which Windy laughed it off. Love? Really?

But at the same time...he couldn’t help but gaze at Magnum with curiosity and adoration...

Maybe he’ll tell him about some of these feelings, but not today.

OTP Month Day 2

Theme: Sugar

Series: Shippu! Iron Leaguer (still. Might be doing that all month)

Ship: Jyuurouta/Sisley

Sisley looked at the can he held in his hand that Jyuurouta had recently gave him. “Birthday Cake’ flavor oil?” he asked, looking at the cartoonish cake with a single candle on the side of the can. “You know it’s not my birthday...is it?”

The kendo leaguer shrugged. “No, but my Owner gave it to me to celebrate the one year I’ve been with Silver Castle; however I don’t really care for sweet flavors so I thought it might be best to give it to you instead,” he explained.

The bandit looked over the can before shrugging it off and taking a sip. “You know...this flavor may be sweet, but it’s not as sweet as you,” he smirked, Jyuurouta groaning at his cheesy pick-up line as he pushed the face away. “Oh come on! It was a good one!”

OTP Month Day 1

Theme: Darkness

Series: Shippu! Iron Leaguer

Ship: Jet Setter/Top Joy (and very mild mention of Bull Armor because it’s a polyship but he’s not there)

Top Joy frowned as he stared at the ceiling as he laid in the bed. Sure, it was quiet and Bull Armor was having another late shift at the hospital (seriously how many did that guy need to take?), but it felt....weird. Maybe he just wasn’t used to the other frame that was sharing the same bed as he and Bull yet. Well he has, but at the same time...Bull was still there. He’s been there since the three of them started dating a month or two ago, but he was used to Bull since they were on the same team...

He glanced over at Jet Setter, who huffed quietly with his back towards him. Guess he wasn’t getting any sleep either. Looking back at the ceiling wasn’t going to help and neither was turning over to face the darkness that was hopefully the wall wasn’t helping either...ok, maybe turning to face Jet’s back would help-

Wide purple eyes met with small gray eyes, Top Joy nearly backing away in alarm. “Can’t sleep either?” he asked, sighing a bit. “Yeah, don’t blame you...you’ve been doing that a lot that last couple of nights.”

“T-that obvious?” the basketball leaguer said, scratching one of his cheeks that wasn’t pressed against the mattress. Jet nodded, contemplating something before wrapping an arm around him and pulling him closer. Top Joy squeaked in surprise as he was moved around to have his back pressed against the football leaguer. Was he being spooned? Yes, yes he was.

“Let’s just....stay like this,” he heard Jet muttered, pressing his forehead against the pink leaguer’s back. Top Joy tried to think of why Jet would initiate this until he remembered that whenever he woke up, Bull would’ve been the one doing the same thing that Jet was doing. The basketball leaguer turned around and kissed his head.

“Thanks, Jet...I hope you sleep well,” Top Joy said, going back to his previous position and laying his arms over Jet’s arms that still had him in a light embrace.

“Yeah....same here.”

So I’m thinking about doing a review series...mostly written because I know shit about getting clips from the internet!

And I know my first target: MINIFORCE!

....I think I was gonna do something similar a few years ago with Sonic Boom as the first topic but I kinda....fell off that wagon. ...several times.

Anyways...time to binge watch the first season. ....wish me luck.

So I kinda saw something a friend of mine with one of her characters did and wanted to try and recreate someone that needed it a lot because she was basically one of my first self-inserts-turned-OCs-that-doesn’t-do-much-in-any-of-my-stories.

I just remember a vague idea of how I doodled her once in high school and thought ‘eh I’ll give her a new haircut’ because I also kinda remember trying to redo her before but I don’t know where I put the sheet I was using.
