hello rq community!! does anyone have advice on where do research about the community? all i hear is the stigma around it.
i've identified as radically inclusive for a good bit because i do not mind what other people identify as because i do not feel like it is an outsiders right to police what makes someone else comfortable, and i, myself, identify as gaybian due to being boygirl and intersex. but due to always being told the bad things about your community, i have not gotten the chance to properly educate myself out of fear.
i have a few main questions
1 ) how do transids work? specifically things like transage, transrace — or even more specific to get an idea on my own situation, how would trans-hospitalization work / feel like? how does someone know if they are transid?
2 ) what is the radqueer standpoint on pro-contact in paraphilias? can i still be radqueer if i am pro-para (i am objectum as well) but anti-c, specifically for anything that is non consensually / harmful
3 ) can i be neutral to proships or do i have to be pro in order to be radqueer? same with endogenic systems/individuals with non traumagenic multiplicity
i genuinely want to be educated because i am so fascinated by you guys

This is the Nexus. It uses abnormal pronoun structure. It tends to prefer to take a more idiosyncratic approach to the words it uses about itself. But it agrees with the radqueer values, interacts positively with the community, and considers itself counting when for example somebody has radqueers in their DNI. Well, the radqueer community is supposed to be about radical freedom and anti-harassment. Having a more neutral stance on censorship and plurality is admittedly not very radical. If you feel comfortable sharing, what is the reason for your neutrality? There is this misconception that being proship means you have to personally like every ship and this is false. The message of proship is that you allow anyone to ship whatever they want, because anything else is censorship. You can freely hate and be disgusted by any ship, as long as you don't harass anyone about their ships or try to prevent them from shipping. That is all proship is. TransIDs can work in various ways. They can be like "I was assigned X but I am actually Y" or "I know I am X but I want to be Y" or "I was Y in a past life" or "My alter is Y" etc. it can have vastly different meanings for different users. The Nexus for example identifies as a transpianist. It really wishes that it was able to play the piano. Thinking about knowing the lay out of notes so well that it can effortlessly craft haunting melodies feels so euphoric. It can even imagine what it would feel like to experience the notes reverberating through its body. But for disability reasons it cannot become good at piano. Reason why somebody might opt for making something like this a transidentity is typically the way in which this feels like an identity. For example, any random person who is suddenly craving a hotdog is not going to instantly identify as transhavingeatenahotdog. They could of course, because the inherent freedom of identity allows this, but the point is that trans experiences are often very individualistic. No contact stance should receive harassment, but due to fundamental differences in views on what does and doesn't count as abuse, a lot of friction ends up being created within the community.
i'm not sure what the Nexus means by the no contact stance should receive harassment. does it have a better way to word that part?
as for my neutrality on endogenics, it's really just due to lack of education (bold for easier accessibility to the answer). i used to be an anti due to peer pressure, but being anti always felt wrong, especially with how pro-harassment the anti community is. i want to be pro, but i feel like i need to be more educated before i can say i'm pro to something.
my overall thought process to everything in life is, if it isn't hurting me, then why should it matter to me? im not being forced to identify as what other people identify as, therefore i have no reason to police or disrespect any identity/standpoint. we live on a floating rock and life feels too short for me to let other peoples comfort take up my time

Hello, ill try to give the best explanation i can based on my own experiences, please know that experiences can be drastically different, there are no rules to identity besides noncon harming someone.
One could identify as being transage if they dont feel a connection to their age, this could be partially, fully, or really any other way you can think of. One could still be connected to their age but identify as a different age. Reasonings could be,
Just wanting to, being a fictive/factive and being a different age in source, trauma causing someone to be stuck in a certain mindset, trauma causing someone to want to be the same age they were in the past, amongst many other reasons.
Transrace could use these same reasonings, just worded a little differently. Personally my transrace identity stems from my interest in cultures from around the world, finding them beautiful and wishing to be part of every one. (Respectfully)
Transhospitalization would be where one self-identifies as being hospitalized, or any definition you could think of when you hear the term. If you feel like you should be hospitalized, you may be transhospitalized. Some people decide to transition by turning their rooms into more hospital-like settings or setting up a schedule.
Identifying with transids will always be very different for any person, but the base explanation i could give for "How does someone know they are transid?" Is, if you identify in a certain way and wish to have a label for it, transids will be your friend. Such as, "Ive always wished i had purple hair, i always tell people online i have purple hair!" That could be transpurplehair/transdyedhair if one decided to self-identify with it.
Radqueer is neutral on contact stances, meaning you can have absolutely any contact stance and still be radqueer, including anti-c. As long as you are respectful towards others contact stances, youd be fine.
The radqueer label is in support of non-traumagenic systems as well as freedom of fiction. Id say as long as youre not against it and harassing people i think the label is still fitting. Since being radqueer is all about letting people be who they are. But im sure others opinions may vary on that.
(Stances can be found here)
thank you ritualistic-lover! this helps a lot:3 i've always been very anti-harassment. so that's good to know !! i think i may start considering myself radqueer now !
