Hi, we are the Save Star, or Files, but you can call us the SaveS. Our pronouns are it/its, they/them, and they&/them&. We are a group of people living in an alterhuman, queer, polyamory, trans, physically and mentally disabled, neurodivergent, persodivergent, Latino body. Our birthday is February 13th, making us an Aquarius.
Okay so who would want a youtube channel about plurality and systems but like- fun.

Endogenic plurality is a real phenomenon. It has been studied by multiple psychologists, psychiatrists and anthropologists. Not all of them have used those words, but it has been repeatedly acknowledged by professionals that people can have multiple distinct identity states, or have multiple self-conscious dissociative parts, or whatever words they like to use, without trauma or a disorder.
There is an as of yet unpublished FMRI study into tulpa systems where it has been shown that different parts of the brain activate when a tulpa is possessing a hand as opposed to when the host is simply imagining that someone else is moving them.
But this really shouldn't need to be published for endogenic systems to be believed about our experiences.
Nobody demands brain scans of people with aphantasia to recognize that it is a real psychological phenomenon.
When endogenic systems describe our experiences, it should be trusted that those experiences are real. That we aren't faking or lying. And that what we have experienced is not simply a belief.

Here is Transgender Mental Health by Eric Yarbrough, which was peer reviewed and published by the American Psychiatric Association, where it's explicitly stated that you can be plural without trauma or a disorder:
Whoever wrote this severely misunderstood why trauma is not included in the dsm, that being that the nature of the disorder causes one to forget their own trauma, so it's common for people who have DID to not remember their trauma until after years of therapy, that's why being able to remember and report trauma isn't a part of the diagnostic criteria, becuase many systems - Despite having experienced trauma *because it's necessary for plurality to exist as proven by mri* - will not be able to self report their trauma, due to the complex network of alters employed by the disorder to hide the self from said trauma.
Really? If only Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association Dr. Eric Yarbrough or any of the American Psychiatric Association's peer reviewers or editorial reviewers who reviewed this book had as much of an understanding of the American Psychiatric Association's DSM-5 as you do. 🤷♀️
By the way, the DSM-5 also states that dissociative identity disorder may or may not be preceded by traumatic experiences, and may or may not have co-occurring PTSD symptoms.

Okay, so the goalposts have now moved from "you would post a scientific source if you could" to "you would post a scientific source specifically about DID to prove the existence of non-DID plurality."

So what about a paper about DID and dissociation stating that it may be possible for self-conscious "dissociative parts of the personality" to form without a trauma disorder?

But what if the World Health Organization's ICD-11's entry on DID also echoed the above paper, using the phrasing that you can experience the presence of multiple "distinct personality states" without a disorder?

Between these, terms like "dissociative identities," "dissociative parts of the personality" and "distinct personality states" all seem to be used more or less synonymously. And the boundaries with normality make it clear these can be experienced without a dissociative disorder.

In a sense, I do sort of agree with that part of Problemaddtic's post though, but I think we need to make a bit of a split between "what people deserve" and "what should happen to people." Because these things aren't necessarily the same thing.
I would argue that objectively, murderers "deserve" death because they killed people, but that killing people as punishment is bad for a healthy society. It traumatizes the people responsible for killing them, costs more than prison, and contributes to a culture that considers killing okay under the right circumstances which can increase the number of murderers out there.
So even though I don't think I said what is being claimed I said, I do agree with the sentiment in a way.
What sysmeds do is spread a dangerous narrative that there is a slew of "fake" systems out there. This narrative that they contribute to will get more systems fakeclaimed when they seek help, including by their doctors.
It is therefore "fair" to say that sysmeds "deserve" to have their doctors not believe them because the actions of sysmeds will cause others to suffer that fate.
But it's also something that is harmful if it happens.
I would argue that sysmeds shouldn't suffer this even if they deserve to.

Let me be clear... The fundamental goal of system medicalism is to ensure that endogenic systems are not believed wherever we may go. They spread an ideology that we are faking, ignoring the many scientists who have said the opposite. Their goal is that we should not be believed by our friends or family, by servers we join, or yes... by our own doctors.
Every doctor that believes in endogenic systems is a threat to sysmeds and their ideology. When doctors have made public statements supporting endogenic systems or written about them, I have watched sysmeds repeatedly refer to those doctors as "quacks" and try to invalidate their views.
I don't think it's unfair to say that sysmeds deserve to suffer the exact same harm they would seek to cause to us and those like us.

You realize that the term "sysmed" was primarily popularized by trans systems who had been victims of transmeds, right? Are you really going to sit there and tell me that it was transphobic of those transgender systems to make a term that compares the near-identical ideologies of two groups who used similar tactics to cause harm to them? As far as I'm concerned, the claims that "sysmed" is transphobic aren't in good faith. They were made up by sysmeds looking to revictimize the people they hate. Fakeclaim and hurt endogenic and pro-endo systems. Then label them as transphobic for comparing sysmeds to transmeds as a way to hurt them more.
As for the rest of it...
Over the course of running this blog, I've watched endogenic and pro-endo systems repeatedly be pushed out of spaces they belong by sysmeds. Not just system spaces either. But fandom spaces, alterhuman spaces and spaces for people with other disabilities like autism.
I watched AimKid, a pro-endo DID system, be publicly bullied and harassed off of Twitter by sysmeds simply for being pro-endo.
And let's not forget how sysmeds harassed the Yaelokre server mods for just being endo neutral until the mods deleted the entire server.
For anyone who doesn't know, moderators of the Yaelokre server were repeatedly harassed and bullied by system medicalists until Yaelokre ult
And then they celebrated their success at destroying a fandom server a lot of people loved!
Whatever sysmeds claim, their ultimately goal is to erase us.
To make sure that there is no space anywhere where endogenic systems will ever be accepted. Whether those are system spaces or otherwise.
