twitch Loves being up high because it ticks the box in their 5 year old brain that says being up higher than everyone else makes them king of the castle. they love hanging out in the ship's rigging and swinging around on the ropes

also comes with the bonus that nobody else likes going up there. with the extra extra bonus that if they're upset they can scramble up the ropes and sulk in peace and look out at the zee. the crew knows not to bother them up there. that's the captain's sulk time

so they're soooo pissed about it when grace hops up there with them (nobody told him about captain sulk time). twitch didn't count on the fact that he has like 20 years ship experience and can climb the rigging faster than they can bc he used to sit up there to paint. he just seemed like a guy who stayed on the ground. he is Not king of the castle material and he needs to get down right now. and he Especially needs to stop asking if they're ok when they are so fine leave them alone

Morgan is of high social status, their Father, Captain Edward J. Morgan was a noble and well established gentlemen and so was the Silverer, right before plunging themselves into the Cumaean Canal blindly. They very much appreciate their position in High Society that allows for their pirate shenanigans to get too many passes. (Ask their lawyer, Mr. Pages, why)

🥝: how does their outside appearance differ from who they are?

From outside you could assume Morgan is detached, focused and professional. Their Admiral uniform and their Pirate Captain attires are always impeccable and are worn as a status symbol: someone with the steely willpower and the skills to lead, ready to be tested anytime.

Deep inside, a burning yearning is consuming them: Desire disguised as Love. Melancholy and a hunger are tearing at their own soul. Between the Light of the Mountain and the fathomless darkness of Lady Black from the depths of the Unterzee.
