Ren pulled away from hand on his shoulder as though he had been burned by it. He was on his knees, breathing heavily and bleeding from a fairly serious wound on his side. Part of him knew that the danger had passed, and that they had managed to dispatch all of the Grimm. That the person who had just tried to touch him was Nora.

But the other part of him was still in a hazy panic, his heart and mind still racing from the sudden attack, and his equally sudden injury. He knew needed medical attention...but he refused to move.
