do fic readers know that their comments actually influence the course of the story sometimes? i don't mean in a "you need to write it this way because i say so 😡" type of comment, i mean when people are asking questions or really engaging with the plot and the themes in the comments they sometimes bring up things that i didn't even think of, or dig into parts of the story that i've overlooked, or get really interested/fixated on something i was going to just kind of glance over--and it has me going 'oh wait that's actually really interesting, that's a good point' and fully adding or tweaking or changing things about the story going forward. i'm literally adding an entire additional chapter to something right now because someone's comment had me like "oh i didn't dig into that as much as i could have." you have impact!

Summary: what happens to Athena when she's swallowed by the void?
Warnings: blood, death, major character death, thunderbolts spoilers, mental illenesses innacuracies (possible), violence, guns, child death, possible gore, panic attack (minor), abuse, maybe more
Others : Athena is part of the thunderbolts au, platonic!thunderbolts x oc, not proof read, there might be spelling mistakes
A/n: This is part one of a challenge I was given, I'll post pt2 as soon as I'm done with it, but I might be busy with school, sorry ;(
When Void showed up, she didn't know what to expect, of course she did not expect to be in the sitaution she was in right now. Even now that she was here, she didn't understand how she could've seen it coming, she should've but how was she supposed to know?
When debris had started falling, she had rushed to help people, making use of the full expanse of her powers and her strength.
It clashed with her morals, but damn it, these humans were innocents, not people who deserved death. And Bucky may have convinced her that they were worth something.
She had thought the hard part was done when debris had stopped falling, which had been stupid, she never had had that much luck.
When the little girl Red Guardian had been protecting turned into a shadow, her heart dropped. She was just a child, how could she be dead? Who did that sort of thing?
And suddenly, everyone had turned into a melee of crazy goats, running and jumping and ignoring the things her teammates were trying to say.
So Athena had taken it upon herself to take care of everyone, she tried to pull on every panic string she could feel, tugging people's minds into calmness and guiding them to safety.
She had picked up children, helped slower people, flew to go faster. She had thought that her teammates didn't need help, after all, they were perfectly capable people and they would not walk into their death. Right?
Or so she thought.
She had been too focused on people to notice Yelena Fucking Belova walking towards the shadowy mass that everyone was running from.
Until she had felt the sharp sting that warned her someone in her team was in danger. She had looked around, eyes setting on Bucky and John leading people inside, Ava and Alexei taking care of the injured and the cars that had no drivers anymore. And Yelena, oh that damn girl.
She had noticed just a little too late, barely in time to see her new and improved black widow sister turn into an atomic bomb shadow residue or whatever those things were. And when she did see her, she had been a bit too late and a bit too far to pull her back.
As soon as she disappeared Athena screamed, taking mechanical steps towards the shadowy residue before she was caught and lifted by Bucky. She trashed and struggled, wings flairing with panic and exasperation, flapping to get away from the arms taht were pulling her back and back and back and away from one of the last things she had.
She had felt the cold stone wall hit her bare back softly, freezing in place as her vision started going blurry and her body growing limp with the realisation that she really couldn't save anyone that mattered. She had slid down the wall, feeling the emptiness inside of her swallor her, take over her body and make her stomach burn, her brain spin and reel and her thoughts darken, nails digging into her flesh.
She had felt Clara fighting her to take over, self doubt covering every corner of her mind with dark, dark thoughts. She had felt her eyes water and her throat dry, but she had been pulled out of her spiraling when Bucky's metal arm had appeared in her vision, like a knight in shining armor.
He had pulled her up, whether she was willing or not, put his hands on her shoulders, shook her slightly until her eyes had focused on him and she had seemed to be listening, or at least reading his lips.
"Ava had an idea, we're going to walk into the void" He had explained, waiting until the confusion cleared from her eyes. "Are you coming?"
She had nodded, before answering with a small yet decided "I am", oblivious to the torture she was about to endure, to overcome, worse than anything she had ever lived before.
So yes, she was disappointed in herself for not seeing this coming, especially when John had said he had seen sometyhing when Bob had touched him, not that she had been listening.
When she had stepped int the void, she had been transported into a warm fall forest, autumn leaves painting the floor al kinds of shades, like a pretty portrait, a peaceful one. She managed to take a second to bask in the scent of freshly cooked dinner, in the sun coming in through the branches, in the peacefulness of it all.
Not that it lasted long.
She turned when she heard a voice, soft and happy like a child's innocence, looking down to find her past self kneeled on the floor, wild brown hair falling over the stream of water her light brown eyes were focused on. She missed how human she used to look.
But she knew this place, she knew what was coming, she knew what would happen when the soft voice would call for her again.
“Диана, возвращайся, давай, ужин готов!” (Diana, come back, come on, dinner's ready!) Called the little girl, walking deeper into the forest to find her newly made friend. “Мама не обрадуется, если ты не поторопишься!” (Mommy won't be happy if you don't hurry up!) She insisted.
And then Athena saw her younger self look up, stare deeper into the woods, far behind her. She had hoped to never meet those cold eyes again, as dark as his soul, and his hair for the matter. He looked angelic here, in the light, with his pale skin and his beautiful face. He was as thin but as strong as she remembered, and now that she saw him again, she noticed he looked like her father, like a goddamned fallen angel.
Whe? You'd ask. Well, the only person that could make a shiver of fear go down her spine, her handler and tortionary, the closest thing she had had to a parent at the time, Liesyt Acharand. The man she had killed for being too much of himself, for being the ruthless and evil being he had been.
She felt something in her stomach turn, her feathers ruffling with a fear only he could create in her. Especially when she saw her younger self turn towards the girl who had called her.
“Я иду, Селия.” (I’m coming Celia) She said as she started walking back towards the small cottage.
Liesyt and her followed behind, looking at the girl freeze when she saw a man she didn't know. She wasn't surprised when the gunshot went off, but she still flinched, eyes diverting to the blood tainting the fall leaves on the floor, the familiar thud of a body falling echoing in her ears.
She took a deep breath, trying to keep herself together, feeling another shiver run down her spine when Liesyt spoke again.
“Молодец, Диана.” (Well done, Diana), he said in his deep, gravelly and emotionless voice. Gods, he was the thing she missed the less from her childhood.
She was foolish to believe it would be over then and there, how could it? This was everything Hell had been described to be. But no, she had to hear Celia's voice again, see the mop of brown hair kneeling a few feet away from her. Oh she did not want to live this again.
And the young one looked up again, Liesyt followed behind again, and she called back again.
“Я иду, Селия.” (I’m coming Celia)
But this time he didn't have time to pull th etrigger before Athena got between him and the children.
“Остановитесь,” She pleaded. “Они просто дети. Пожалуйста.” (stop, they're just kids. Please) she hoped to appeal to his humanity,if he even had any, wings spreading to cover the younglings behind her. But he didn't falter, he smiled, he fucking smiled. His smile had never meant anything good.
She felt hands grab her from behind and a gunshot ring, straight through her heart. He shot her, an immortal being. And she was dying. Or so she thought.
She woke up to the scene playing again, the same voices echoing in her head. She couldn't bear failing again and again. Just trying and failing over and over and over and over.
Until she had enough.
She had started to understand she couldn't change the past, she hadn't stopped Liesyt then, she wouldn't be able to stop him now. So her best chance was to run away and hopefully get out of this horrible memory. If her theory was right, she would simply run out of frame.
This was her memory, and she guessed that what she couldn't remember wouldn't happen, or wouldn't exist. That was why she couldn't hear heartbeats or feel emotions coming from others, she didn't have those abilities back then. So if she managed to get out of what she remembered, she might be able to get to Yelena.
So she ran, she ran in a straight line, as far as she could. Until she met a wall. She had expected another Void, maybe a fall, not a goddamned wall. She took a few steps back, thinking of a way out.
The wall was definitely not part of her reality, so not something she could manipulate out of the way, and taking control of this reality was definitely not something she had the time or energy to do.
So she did the next best thing, run into the wall with her super strength until it broke, or she gave up. Yet again, she was taken by surprise when she fell on hard cement, her shoulder taking the rough of the hit as she turned to look up at the gaping hole on the roof. What a bitch move.
The hole seemed to close, grey concrete replacing it. SHe remebered that roof, it was the same roof she had spent hours staring at to find shapes on it from this very same floor.
She hated this place, its plain dirty walls, its moldy and hard beds, its small space, its emptiness, and especially that fucking mirrored window. SHe knew there was always someone watching her behind it, she absolutely abhorred it.
She sat up, wings curling into her back to disappear, they took up space she didn't have and would be of not use in the closed off room. Her eyes set on the girl in front of her, pacing like an angry and feral lion in a cage. She remembered doing that many times, especially when she was pissed off.
She stood up, attention catching on the sobs coming from behind her. She turned to face her younger sister, Alina Acharand, light blonde hair covering scarred and raw skin. Her heart almost broke with guilt and pain, ALina's injuries were almost always her fault.
Her heart broke even more when she heard what the young child was muttering, words that had burned into her memory like a bad mantra.
“Это ты виноват,” she murmured. “они обидели меня из-за тебя. Это все твоя вина.” (It's your fault, they hurt me because of you. It's all your fault.)
It had made her younger self freeze and turn to face her, guilt and regret etched in her face.
“Alina” she murmured back. “Мне очень жаль.” (I’m so sorry) She even tried to reach towards her, taking a few steps in the blonde’s direction.
“Это ваша вина.” she repeated. “Я ненавижу тебя” (I hate you)
“Что?” (what?) the younger version stopped, frozen in place.
“Я ненавижу тебя” (I hate you) Snarled Alina in return.
“Нет, Алина, прости меня, пожалуйста.” (No, Alina, I’m sorry, please) SHe stopped moving, frozen in place.
“Заткнись!” (shut up!) she snapped, a wave of white energy slamming both Athenas into the wall. They felt darkness take over their view, both passing out into a deep, dreamless slumber.
When Athena woke up, she saw the scene replay again from her spot against the wall. It made her stomach hurt, digging a knife into a still open wound.
“Это ты виноват,” she murmured. “они обидели меня из-за тебя. Это все твоя вина.” (It's your fault, they hurt me because of you. It's all your fault.)
“Alina” she murmured back. “Мне очень жаль.” (I’m so sorry) She even tried to reach towards her, taking a few steps in the blonde’s direction.

“Что?” (what?) the younger version stopped, frozen in place.
“Я ненавижу тебя” (I hate you) Snarled Alina in return.
“Заткнись!” (shut up!) she snapped, a new wave of white energy slammed her younger self into the wall like a ragdoll, it was almost ridiculous how easily it had happened. She almost chuckled.
The third time though, she saw something change in the mirror, a sort of distorted reflection of Yelena in a room she didn't know. She had to get to her, she had to reach her, she couldn't lose her. So she pulled out he rknife, repeatedly ramming it into the window until it shattered, pushing through it to fall, again.
The wind was cut out of her as she slammed against the floor. She even let out a small grunt. She was sure she was finally going to reach her friend, but apparently the Void had other plans for her.
The dirty floor was no different than before, except for the scarttered blood stains, sitting there like an omnious warning, a sign to run as far as you could from this place.

Summary: an insight on Jay's first breakdown with his father
word count: 1047 words
Warnings: violence, blood, abuse
A/N: I had a really clear idea of how and when Jay would cross the line between protecting and getting revenge. Jay is heavily inspired on Matt Murdock (the daredevil series version), but I don't remeber exactly what moment inspired me to write this. He's sort of his family's Daredevil.
Jay Kane had always been a fighter. He knew that since the day he was born. It wasn't just about his mentality, no, it was about the weight of his last name on his hands, hands that had punched, and punched, and punched some more, fists that were stained with blood, blood that never left, no matter how much he washed it off.
It haunted him, how much he had hurt people. He still remembered the nights where his mother hid him in his closet, locking the door from the outside, nights where her cries and begs resonated in the empty apartment, nights where his fear had engraved the sounds in his memory.
When he started hitting people, he remembered, and he knew, deep down, that he wasn't so different from Javier Kane, it absolutely terrified him.
Jay Kane didn’t have a lot of fears. He was terrified of being like his father, but it wasn’t his greatest fear. He was also terrified of seeing his sisters injured, he always feared the day he wouldn’t be there to protect them.
Maybe that was his greatest fear, seeing his younger sister injured by the hands of his father. He didn’t have a favorite, but Aitana was strong, she was a fighter too, not Vivienne, he feared more the day Vivienne would get hurt.
Vivienne was a sweet kid, the sweetest. She was the better sister out of the three, the perfect one, the favorite one, the softer one, the weaker one. Everyone said she was such an easy kid for someone with autism, whatever that meant, but it just made her all the more fragile.
Vivi was only eight when she was faced with the reality of how harmful her father was, she was eight when Jay’s worst fear became a reality.
Eight wasn't much older than the moment Jocelyn had first seen his father hit his mother, or the time Aiatana had faced the screaming matches between her older sibling and the man of the house. But everyone agreed, eight was too young for Vivienne.
Any year before she was far from harm would be too young for the child to see the harsh truth.
Well, saying everyone agreed was a lie, their father didn't agree, no, he thought that no age was too young to be taught, no matter the child. If he had to hurt a daughter of his, he didn't care what age they were, they would learn, and they would learn the hard way.
The second his youngest daughter had shown signs of disrespect, or what he saw as disrespect, he decided to teach her.
Jay and Aitana reacted as soon as they heard his booming voice, one moved to step in between while the other moved to hide the smaller one. But when they met in the hallway panic washed over them like a cold shower.
It wasn't Jay who was getting screamed at, or Aitana, it was none of them who were about to take their father's anger, it was Vivienne.
On that second Jay saw red.
When he saw Javier holding his sister’s arm he didn’t think, ripping her away from his grip and pushing him back towards the table. The vases came crashing down, broken glass scattering on the floor, surprised carving itself on his father’s face.
He didn’t quite know if the noise had truly been that loud or if it just resonated in his ears. But he didn’t care, grabbing his father’s collar and screaming at him.
“You don’t get to lay a hand on her, do you hear me? Not anymore.” He snarled.
He didn’t register his father’s answer, but it was enough for him to punch the older man. And just like that, they were engaging in a fist fight.
Jay punched as hard as he could, struggling against his father, trying to overpower him. More things crashed and more furniture was hit but he didn’t care. He felt like an animal fighting for his life.
He didn't notice Aitana ushering their sister in the closet, or hear his mother shouting at him to stop. He just felt the flesh hitting his fists.
He hit harder than he ever did, harder than he beat up the guy that tried to hit on his little underage sister, or harder than that racist at school, releasing all his rage into his punches. Until the point where his father’s hands released his wrist, going limp.
And even then, he didn’t move until his sister pulled him up. He felt numb, barely focusing on the beat up face in front of him. Barely focusing on anything at all. He was breathless, rage heaving on his brain like a fog, blurring his vision, lighting up every nerve ending on his body with fire.
His blood felt like molten lava, his hands burning like coals. He could barely see the small girl standing in front of him, asking him what went through his head, or his mother checking on his unconscious father.
He had done that, he had done worse than his father. He was shaking, shaking with adrenaline and with the realisation that he and his father were... the same.
It left a bittersweet taste in his mouth, one he wanted to spit out and throw up. He may have taught his father a lesson, but he had also beaten him up the way he used to hurt him, leaving him limp and hurting. No, he had done worse. His father had never knocked him out.
He looked down, walking away and into the bathroom. He stared at the crimson staining the water, at the dark and torn spots on his knuckles, the calluses, the pain. They were proof of what he had done. He would never come back from this one, he would never be able to take it back.
He had gone too far, he had crossed the line he promised to never cross. He was sure his sisters would see him as a monster now, and his mother… They had all been terrified of him.
That day, Jay made a decision. He would never again give in to the fire in him. He would never hurt his family again. Or at least not in front of him.

Summary: An introduction to the whole world of Mafia! MW
Masterlist
Pairings : Valeria x wife! younger! half mexican! Reader
TW: Canon typical violence, may be OOC, canon divergence, AU, MAFIA, alcohol, use of reader, suggestive content, I can't write accents to save my life, smoking, mention of drugs.
A/N : My pen slipped (and I made the divider). Translations are at the end.
The music was deafening, blaring on her and making her head hurt in a constant pulsation of uncomfortable pain. Not enough to actually hurt, yet. She sighed, calling a waitress to pick up the drink she had just made, placing it on the counter. She ran a hand through her hair with another sigh, not noticing Soap, hanging around a few feet closer than before.
"You 'right there lass?" He shouted over the music with a tint of concern in his cheery tone.
"Yeah, yeah, 'm fine." she laughed "just got a headache creepin' on me" she shouted back.
"You can take a break y'know?" He joked, still seeming concerned.
"I know, I know. I'm fine tho, really" She reassured, smiling. As much as she did want to take her break she was waiting on an important contact. The bartender nodded, going back to his own section.
A man walked in the club. His dark clothing contrasted with the rich men and women, but they were all way too busy to even care. He sat at her bar and she walked closer with a polite smile. "What can I get for ya?" She asked, putting up a texan accent.
"I'm looking for Sam." He stated, as if he didn't want anyone to bother him.
"You're sitting right in front of 'er" She grinned and the man stared her down with a mocking expression.
"you're telling me you're the intel dealer" He sounded even more mocking than he looked. She chuckled and put her elbows on the counter, leaning her weight on it, crossing her hand and exposing just enough cleavage.
"Yessir, in flesh and bones"
"There's no way a sweetheart like you is the biggest informant out here. I mean, the most you would have is little girl gossip" He mocked.
She shrugged "Your loss honey" She mocked back, moving onto the next drink.
"Wait," He called "I need that deal"
She turned back to him. "Alright, here are my conditions. One, an eye for an eye. What you so much need, I want back, just the same. Second, no one gets to know who I am." The glint in here eye scared him, a mix of mischief, of interest and of a devilish fire. "So, do we have a deal?" Her grin was just as warning as her look, but it quickly faded when an older man in a suit called her, turning innocent. "One second" Her voice sounded so sweet she almost seemed harmless. Almost.
"Anything I can help you with Price?" she shifted her accent back to her usual neutral one, moving her hair to uncover her dyed hair.
"I just wanted to check on you, wouldn't want to overwork my staff." He joked. "Soap said you didn't look very well, you had him worried there."
"Really? Oh, no, I'm fine. I just have a slight headache" She smiled sheepishly.
"You should really take a break" Suggested Price.
"As soon as I finish with my order I will" She assured. He nodded and let her walk back to her bar, eyes lingering on her in worry before turning away. She took a breath, taking back her texan accent and covering again her dyed hair, taking a confident stroll towards her client.
"So, do we have a deal or not? I don't have all day."
"Fine" Grumbled the man.
"What d'ya need? If what ya give me is enough I might just as well give it to ya" She grinned again, the devilish glint back in her eyes.
She blew out a puff of smoke as she waited for the phone to send her to voicemail. It felt nice to not have to fake an accent and let her voice rest, settling in her normal tone. "Hola Amor. La Araña is planning on moving a drug shipment tomorrow night in between Las Almas territory and 141 territory. Around 2 or 3 am. Hard drug. Have fun and good luck." She hung up right after.
She heard the emergency exit door open and she quickly threw her cigarette on the floor, putting it out and straightening up. "Oh, hey, I didn't know you were here" Noted Kyle when he noticed her.
She chuckled softly. "I needed some fresh air" The other man hummed and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
"D'you mind?" She shook her head and he started smoking, settling them both in a comfortable silence.
"I didn't know you smoked" she teased and he snickered.
"Almost all of us do. Simon not so often, due to the mask and all, but he still smokes when he manages to catch a break. Chills us out, you know?"
"You seem to know each other quite well" she teased again, noting the information in the back of her brain. He nodded, saying how they were friends since a long time.
Her expression almost showed her concern when she read the messages. "Kyle? Do you mind if I make a call?" She asked sheepishly.
"Not at all darling" he smiled. She refrained from wincing at the pet name. She dialed her wife's number and prayed to whatever being would hear her.
"Que paso Hermosa?" She heard V's voice and let out a breath in relief.
"Hola mamà" She let her wife know she was being heard by someone exterior. "Te deje un mensaje mas temprano sobre un paquete que tenias que recoger mañana. Una araña blanca creo. No vayas porfa, los azules van a estar allí y no quisiera que te los cruces."
"You're at work right? I'm guessing one of those little rats are standing besides you. So the drugs La Araña is moving are being intercepted by cops." The girl let out a hum in confirmation. "Y como sabes eso chiquita?" The voice Valeria used made her weak at the knees.
"Ale me aviso, ese tonto no sabe lo que anda haciendo"
"Good girl" The line went dead without even a good bye.
"Adios a ti tambien" muttered the young woman.
"She hung up on you" Teased Kyle.
"Yeah, that's my mother's attitude" Joked the girl.
She sighed, dropping her bag on the floor and her keys on the table. Suddenly the door snapped closed and a pair of hands wrapped around her. One on her stomach and the other over her mouth. She gasped, going to pull the hand away from her mouth until she felt the cold hands slide under her dress shirt and over her neck.
"You should be more careful Karma, you never know who's waiting for you behind your door" Whispered her wife huskily. The young woman melted in the older's arms, finding herself unable to answer with the way the cold hands rested and moved against her skin. Valeria chuckled mockingly before pulling on the girl's jaw to kiss her deeply.
"You did a good job today love. I think you deserve a little reward"
"Que paso Hermosa" - "What's up Beautiful"
"Te deje un mensaje mas temprano sobre un paquete que tenias que recoger mañana. Una araña blanca creo. No vayas porfa, los azules van a estar allí y no quisiera que te los cruces." - "I left a message earlier about a package you had to go get tomorrow. A white spider I believe. Please don't go, the blues are going to be there and I wouldn't want you to cross them."
"Y como sabes eso chiquita?" - "And how do you know that chiquita"
"Ale me aviso, ese tonto no sabe lo que anda haciendo" - "Ale told me, that fool didn't know what he was doing"

"I'm gonna watch them burn, and I don't care anymore if I burn with ‘em" She snarled at the woman standing in front of her. She may be in her knees, bleeding from a gash on her side, and on the losing side, but she'll never give up. No matter what, she'll keep spitting her venom and biting, until the day she dies. Because she isn't a widow, she isn't a reaper, she isn't a spider, she's a snake.
The man behind the woman, her handler, laughed. "Make a God bleed and they'll stop believing in him. We have done the impossible and yet look at you, you refuse to acknowledge you lost. What's it worth Athena?" He sounded cocky, of course he did, he wasn't trained like the two in front of him. He was weak, merely the man behind the weapon, he didn't do the dirty work. He didn't watch his sisters and brothers die. He didn't learn through blood and fire.
But the woman that held the blade did. And she looked at the other with so much compassion as she spat that that wasn't her name. Athena, or however she was now called, was the generation right over her. Where instead of six, they were two, two reapers, two shining children amongst dull followers. Athena and Ares.
Lilith had a sort of respect and admiration for them. And it grew when Athena fled. But now, she looked at someone that refused to give up, to let herself be drowned by the river, because she knew she was stronger than it. And it only made Lilith's respect grow. If only she was just as strong as them.
Karma remembered her, the little Lilith. She had gained her name from refusing to get paired with the spider she was given. She chose the 'devil' over her pairing and left him. She gave the Hunstman the name of Adam and the Widow the name of Eve. As for the spider she left Adam for? He was named Lucifer. He didn't fail to follow through and take Eve from Adam. They became an unstoppable trio. Yet here she was, alone in this fake heaven that was The Program. A spider in her silky web.
"You'll see," The man spoke up as he motioned for Lilith to hold the gun towards her teammates. "Once we'll give the council your blood, they'll send more spiders behind you."
Lilith frowned, so if she didn't speak, and he didn't have any proof, Karma would live? She made a mental note to get rid of the knife later on.
Karma could see the gears turning in her head and silently thanked her. Lilith nodded. "You will be their fall" She mouthed as she turned around. "I'm sure Ares will adore being the one to cause your death" She smirked. Shortly after her and her handler left her to bleed out and take care of the rookies behind her. They were frightened, they now knew that the only thing keeping their country from falling to enemies hands was able to be hurt.
"Stop gushing and call for exfil" She grounded sternly. The rookies nodded and called a car. The woman sighed and sat up, pressing at her wound. It seemed deadly, but it wasn't. Guess she still had some friends inside.
A car rolled up besides them and Gaz came out, looking worried. "Are you okay?" He kneeled besides her as Price took the rookies in the car. She nodded and held her hand up to him. He pulled her up with a smile. Until he saw her wound. She cut him before he worried. "It's superficial" He shut up immediately, she seemed pissed.
The car ride was silent, and she was the first to get down when they reached base. Kyle followed close behind, making sure she wasn't pushing herself too much.
They got to their barracks and she threw her gear on the floor, frustrated. "What's up ?" He asked, worried. "It's just blood, you said it yourself, so what's got you so worked up?"
She turned around, looking even more frustrated. "It's not just blood though" She argued. Something in her eyes seemed distressed, she wasn't the reaper anymore, she was the girl, the girl that was afraid. "Bleeding means being weak, it means being reachable, it means I'm losing something, it means I'll lose someone, because it means I'm growing soft and complacent and I'm losing what makes me a spider, it means I can't protect you from the widows and reapers and huntsmen and any other spider the program decides to birth!"
"It doesn't mean being weak." Kyle argued, reaching out to her as she trailed her hands in her blood colored hair over and over again. "It's okay"
"It does, it means being reckless and inattentive and complacent. And complacency leads to death, it means being mortal. It means being weak." She repeated, sounding more angry than distressed. Angry at herself and her weakness.
"It means being human" He answered sternly. Why couldn't she see it was fine to make mistakes?
"But I'm not human!" She shouted, breaking from her normally calm demeanor. "I'm a spider, I'm a reaper! I'm flawless, bent into perfection by fire and metal! I'm not supposed to bleed!" Her voice broke slowly to something soft and thin. The voice of the child she was. "I'm not supposed to lose" Her posture was angered, but her eyes were panicked, scared.
"You won't lose y/n. You're not alone." He answered softly, reaching towards her hands that tugged at her hair and pulling them away, wrapping them around him instead as he wrapped his own arms around her shoulders. "It'll be fine. We won't lose." She buried her head in his chest, hoping to believe his words. Even if something deep down in her knew just how fake they were.
For anyone wondering, this is the oc that Karma was based on. This (other than the name) is all canon for Black Widow! reader/ Karma. This is not proof read.
Note that this is also my visualisation for the many drawings I'll do of her.

Trivia
Price gave her her callsign when he picked her up, realizing that she was driven by spite and chaos and that her morality was to give back what she receives. He promised to help her burn the Room to the ground.
She has slowly learnt to switch on and off from her reaper side thanks to Price and Gaz.
She swears, like a lot. If she's swearing in russian run for your life.
She has a snake tattoo all along her left arm.
She scratches her arms when anxious to keep herself aware.
She's buried deep in the abuse she has gotten from the Room and the people she's been loaned to. She often gets nightmares and anxiety attacks from her past trauma. But thanks to that she developed a dissociation technique.
She's worked in many dark places when she was too young.
She was loaned as a sex slave for a few months in an illegal club when she was young.
She was loaned to Valeria's organisation where V took care of her after a while there.
She lost her young sister to the program. She had to kill her herself because she didn't know how to follow orders.
She was the test subject for many modifications the Room brought to its widows
She was taught ballet and still dances to try and cope, bringing more artistic liberty to the traditional ballet she was taught.
She still fights to survive. Both against the room and herself, but Ghost now helps her once he first found her attempting to end herself.
She sleeps like a cat: rolled in a ball, her hands close to her chest and her knees over it all, with her head tucked in her knees.
When she's sitting and in an uncomfortable situation where she doesn't feel right or safe she tucks her knees close to her chest.
When she's standing she wraps her arms closely under her chest, over her stomach. And she either holds her arms tightly or scratches them depending on what she's wearing.
She has scars due to her scratching. The deepest ones are from the time she got locked into the white room; she needed to keep her senses aware so she started scratching her arms. Since then she uses it to relax.
She cannot sleep for more than 15 minutes when she's alone.
Continuing on that track, she needs to have a safe person around her to sleep properly, for now Alejandro, Valeria, Ghost, Soap, and Price hold that place.
Even if she's free, Price is still her handler. Alejandro was her handler for a moment.
She worked once in a club and wrote a song about her best friend Lilith, now Lilith took the song and is waiting for the moment she will come back. She sings it every night at the club. (I don't claim having actually wrote the song)
She never had a consistent accent, unless she's in her reaper mode.
She hates her eyes, so each time she covers them as much as she can
She can't recognize herself in a mirror
She can turn on and off her emotions, but the more she's out of the room the less she needs it; she used to do it to push down the impending panic and anxiety she felt
Her brain is modified in three ways: one is to make her obey, the other is to be unable to kill herself, the last one is so that her senses and brain capacity is augmented.
That means, she can count probabilities in seconds, so predict outcomes, she can know how something works or is made with a few glances and tests, she's a pro in chemistry and can mix components very easily, and she's a human calculator.
She has heightened senses
Into a more dark side: she's been loaned as a sex slave to various armies, teams, and organisations, so she cannot sleep alone anymore.
She can't talk about her problems and masks a lot, due to being told to suck it up in her time at the room.
On a lighter tone, she's a switch. Do what you want with that info. (If her partner is older she'll be a bratty bottom, if her partner is younger she'll top)
She'll chose complete freedom over revenge anytime soon.
If she sleeps with you, you're special now. (I mean sleep sleep like rest)
Even if she's bleeding she won't stop until the mission is done, then she'll check her wounds.
She can and will go 20 days without sleep.
She doesn't drink much, she's being constantly reminded to drink and eat
She won't ,for the sake of spite, break herself. She'll survive. Just out of spite.
She likes fire
You can't hurt her (yes you can but she won't admit it)
Her and Soap are like siblings
She may not look strong, but she is. Like hella strong. The rookies often try to challenge her but lose miserably.
Gaz is her emotional support, he makes her human
The task force is her heaven
She sees herself as an asset only, the task force tries to make her see herself as a human
If she gives short answeres, she's not being true, she's not being human.
She's scared people won't understand her so she over explains
She likes the roof, it's her safe place. But only Gaz and Ghost know that
"And what am I if not what they made me? Who am I? I'm not Athena because she's dead. I'm not Hannah becaue she never existed. And Karma is nothing but an armor I built around myself" "I feel empty. I feel like nothing. It's not anymore that I don't feel. It's that I feel an emptiness around everything that surrounds me" That's how she feels about herself
She bites her lip when she doesn't like what she's about to say.
Summary: chaos rambling about their ocs. Or Persephone's backstory.
Warnings: violence, blood, near death experience, talks of killing, talks of losing perception of self, talks of possible death,
A/n: I'm sorry, when did this become a 2k word document? Anyways, this is the first of many.
Tayari Torres was born in mexico city to Maria Feleza and Ricardo Torres on the twelfth of October 2008. She grew up in mafia with her parents. Her wings grew when she was 7 and immediately her mother clipped her wings for her safety.
She ran away from Mexico at the age of fourteen, having been introduced to the mafia two years ago and deciding she did not want to be part of that. She jumped into the first truck she found and it took her to Gotham city, where her family was making an arms deal with a local gang. That was when she first saw the batman, as he was the one that stopped the shipment when she got to Gotham. She immediately decided that she would find him and ask him for help.
She spent a bit less than year in the streets, living off scraps and trash and bits of food that restaurants decided weren't worth serving but good enough for starving kids. She used her free time to find out who the batman was with the information she gathered. Tayari being a highly trained strategist she got very close to it.
But it was while she was gathering more information in crime alley that she got mugged by a gang that had heard of the disappearance of the Mexican Mafia Princess. While fighting she was thrown against a wall and hit her head. Red hood intervened minutes later, saving her right in time.
He decided to take her to a safe house close there to help her with her wounds but when he realized how close she was to fainting he took her to the batcave. She fainted minutes before getting there.
She woke up in an examination table in the batcave, batman and red hood gathered around her. She was still in a hazy state and thought the gang was still after her, proceeding to beg the heroes to save her. After she calmed down, she explained to them what had happened, and why so many people were after her.
Bruce being the ever adopting father, said that he would send her to a friend of Batman to be kept safe by all of them. That's how she ended up in the wayne manor, very easily figuring out everyone's identity. She talked with Bruce about having ended up in the streets and grown up in mafia and he took her in.
They agreed on calling her his daughter from a random fling in mexico that had been sent to Bruce for her to grow in a better higher society. By that time, she had turned fifteen. So they created her a new identity, and when Bruce asked her for a name, she answered with Persephone.
To her it held a deep meaning, persephone was a queen taken away from her mother and hidden from her father to be in a happier place. A place her mother didn't approve, but a place where she did great things. For some reason Percy wanted to see herself in that story.
Jason immediately gave her a nickname, Percy. It started with Perse, but she didn't like it. And having told them that she was gender fluid, Jason thought of a nickname that could double as a masculine name. And so, she eneded up being Percy. She also took Bruce's last name for safety.
Persephone hid her identity completely, erasing Tayari from her mind and embracing her new persona. But it caused her to lose a bit of her identity. More often than not, she ends up having identity crises where she's not sure if she's living in a role or being herself and ends up wondering who she even is. So to control that, she decided to dive back into the world of danger her father made her grow up in.
That's how angel was born. She came from the desire to help and to get the thrill she had lost. She had the power to manipulate the odds and decided to use it to favor kids like her. She helped them get better chances at about everything they did when she was around, and so, she also helped them get protected when no one else was around.
Percy's moral compass was never very straight, so when she found herself with the option of either killing or letting the kid she was protecting die, she immediately picked giving desth. As soon as Bruce found out Angel had killed batman went to confront her. But he didn't expect to find his newly adopted daughter behind the winged vigilante. He had never known about Percy's mutation.
They had to sit down and talk it out, and Percy managed to help him see her side. She wasn't judge jury and executioner. She was the executioner of those that society deemed unsalvagable but that they couldn't get rid of. Rapists, child molesters, violent and dangerous people. Bruce allowed her, only if she promised to never outstep that rule. And to train with him to control herself.
Mafia had taught her violence and manipulation. Bruce taught her calm and strategy. It was different and it was what Percy needed to balance herself out. She felt like she was regaining a sense of who she was outside of society's standards. It was around that time that she stopped dying her hair to show the white streaks that matched her feathers. She explained it by having simply dyed her hair white in certain parts
Bruce found a new part to his daughter. One raised for an elitist society and to take advantage of it. He found a manipulative siren at only the age of sixteen. And as much as it helped her get on without problems, it made Bruce worried. How far would Percy be willing to go? He had no idea. He hadn't yet seen the darker side of Tayari and now he was finding himself head to head with it. So he made sure to keep her close.
He realized that that siren persona was making Percy loose herself more, but it made her anxious self be calmer in social settings. Percy had always shown her displeasure for society, and she had always been problematic, but it was different in galas and stuff, she was afraid. Now? Now the child he knew was growing to be a masking woman way too early. He found her losing feeling, empathy, pain. His own daughter became the sort of emotionless monster he tried to keep himself from becoming.
It was around that time that he realized she was neurodivergent and got her to test for a few things. Percy scored high in ADHD and Anxiety, but quite low into everything else. Except that she scored high enough to be placed on the lower part of the Autistic spectrum. He had to accommodate a lot of things for Percy once she finally admitted how certain things bothered her. That's where her lack of emotions came, she was masking. But he found her having something doctors didn't know how to categorize that made her seek a thrill. A dangerous thrill.
The trauma from her old house, in mexico, made her dangerous in a sense where she seeked the power of having people's lives in her hands and at the same time shoved her emotions down to not face her own monstrosity. Which did not help her with identity crisis.
Bruce gladly helped his daughter feel better and be less anxious, but the way she was so good at acting worried him. He never managed to see on time when she was hurt. Either physically or mentally. He noticed she opened up more easily to Jason and he let her be. He wanted to help her but she had chosen her brother to be her safe person. So Bruce made sure to let Jason know that if Percy was in danger, either from herself or others, he would let Bruce know. To which Jason agreed without arguing.
Dick also grew on Percy in a way none of her other siblings did. While Jason is her safe space when she's mad and hurting, Dick is her safe space when she just wants to be a kid. Dick has that older sister syndrome and so he takes care of all his siblings, and when he sees one of these stoic children crying, you will be in problem. Percy is, like Cass, his little sister, and so he's extra protective of her. And she loves it, she will curl into his arms and just stay silent, in the safety of her second father. Almost. He won't ask. And he teaches her more gymnastics.
We then have Tim. Tim and Percy... they don't really know each other. Like, yeah, okay, they exist to each other but that's about it. They're another team mate, another family member perhaps. But that's about it. They're civil to each other, sometimes kind, they don't act like stranger but not like siblings. They're somewhat in that friend spectrum. Also in that rivals one, cause they're both great detectives and sometimes one or the other needs to prove themselves. And so they will interfere in the other's current case. Although Percy less than tim, as she doesn't really deal with big name villains on purpose.
Cass and Duke are another story yet again.
Cass and Percy bond because they were both made to be weapons and are both girls. They train together, they talk, they're almost to the point of siblings, but it's also hard for them to properly get there. Percy is very closed off when it comes to herself and Cass is very often drawn away by percys body language. She reads that the other doesnt want to talk and so shuts herself too. And so, this socially awkward babies never talk to each other.
Duke and Percy are chill. They're friends, they're siblings, they're normal. Duke is the kinda big brother that's chill and just 'oh you're there, nice' kinda vibes. Like Tim but in more actually close. Opposite of Jason who's the 'my life is to make yours difficult' kinda big brother but also the 'the moment you will need me I'm here' kinda big brother.
So yeah, Duke and Percy are siblings that actually get along and you'd say they're friends without more.
Finally, Damian. Percy is older than Damian, and because of that she has this older sister vibe with it. She tries even if both of them are awkward but she's not one to judge him or be mad. She understands quickly his love and hate languages and does everything to get on his good side because she wants to be the cool sister and not be on the bad side of the child assassin who is publicly supposed to be her half brother. So they're nice around each other, like actual sibling. And she's Damians safe space because he needs one baby.
For the other people in the bat team, Kate is the cool aunt, Harper is kinda there, Selina is not someone Percy actually likes, babs is also the cool aunt/sister and steph is just a teammate. Alfred of course is the nice grandpa.
To elaborate on that, Alfred is as much the butler as he's the grandpa. It's a bit complicated for Percy as she grew up in a house wealthy enough to have that kind of workers. But at the same time, she had even taught to always be wary of them. So when Alfred appeared, a cup of tea in his tray for her, she didn't immediately click with him.
It was later when she learned that he was also a family member (when I mean learned I mean her brain accepted it), she was much less skittish around him. She was kinder and she actually appreciated his affection and help. And she made sure to apologize for being the way she was with him at first.
Percy and Kate know each other and Percy has adopted Kate as her aunt. I mean, legally she is, but emotionally she also is. The cutie bisexual that Percy is always goes for wlw relationship advice to her favorite aunt. I'd say that Kate and Percy have that kind of cool aunt nice niece relationship where they're both around the same mental age. They're nice to each other and really sort of friend dynamic. But also if Kate catches Percy out when she's grounded the woman is dragging the girl back in.
Selina and Percy can't stand each other. It's not at all for the cat and bird dynamic that angel and cat woman have. It's more that that woman gives Percy the ick. She does not like her, but she can't tell why. Selina stands the girl, but then again Percy is agressive towards her. So Selina doesn't appreciate that attitude at all. Adding to that even more, Percy does not appreciate Selina's shenanigans and all, so she really doesn't like Selina.
Barbara and Percy met when Dick and babs were together and so, as the jealous girl she is, she immediately tried to adopt Barbara as her sister. Barbara agreed and appreciated it, and Percy just stuck by like a lost kitten. They have fun banter, nicknames, and protectiveness going on, as well as the whole package of fuck you and your orders and if you don't listen I'm telling your mom. Which is Kate. So, Barbara and Percy love each other like sisters and Percy goes to Barbara for girl advice, often.
Steph and Percy don't talk a lot. They've trained together, they've done missions together but for the rest... there's not much going on. Percy is a lot of a lonely bird and steph doesn't fully agree with percy's doings. So they talk, but it doesn't go further than a profesional relationship. They'll be civil, unless percy starts being a bitch and steph will call her out.
Percy knows about Harper, has seen Harper, but has never talked to Harper. So Harper exists, but Percy doesn't have an opinion on her. She doesn't really feel the need to get to know her or even talk to her, so that's that. They don't talk.

Summary: When Steve is in danger, Athena has no other choice than to untap her powers to save him.
Warnings: temporary major character death, angst with a happy ending
A/n: this is what we could've had if I hadn't rushed shit in athenas rp.
Something in her brain was blaring alarms, someone was in danger. It wasn’t a demon, no, it was one of her friends, one of those she had given the bracelets to. She stood up as fast as she could, running out of the shelter and down the streets. Her legs were weakening with every step, but adrenaline kept her going, magic running through her muscles to help her.
And then she was stumbling, falling to her knees in front of the man she considered her new found father. Steve Rogers. How was he dying, he the untouchable, he the one she couldn’t beat? Her whole body shook with a shiver as she saw the darkness spreading in his veins, in his body and realization dawned on her. She did not know how to heal supernatural wounds, not when the very poison killing him seemed to be alive, as shadowy substance running that seemed to distort her reality. But through her panic, she managed to make a movement, shaking the man to bring him back to consciousness.
“Steve, my gods, wake up, come on, stay with me I beg you” She pleaded, relief soon etching onto her worried expression when his eyes fluttered open.
“Hey there” He murmured, ever smiling, ever reassuring, but weaker than she’s ever seen him. And she couldn’t help but let out a worried whimper.
“I’m here okay? I’m- I’ll fix this, yeah? I will. I promise” She murmured, but anyone that chose to would be able to read her hesitation. She wasn’t lying, no, she couldn’t, but she would be lying if she said she wasn’t unsure. It was in the way she blurted out her words, in the way her tone was high pitched, perched in the notes of a child who begged for safety, in the way everything shook, from the tip of her fingers to her feathers and her words. But Steve ignored it, turning a blind eye to the teen’s fear, he would not allow himself to think that he would die, he begged for the same safety she did.
“I know,” He whispered back, putting on a soft, reassuring smile. He was the best liar, after all. “I know you will”
It wasn’t long before she put warm, glowy hands on his chest, over his heart where the shadows gathered, attempting to heal him like she usually did. She closed her eyes and her hands warmed up, a dim golden light growing as she put more power into it, but soon they turned burning, blinding. Tears began building up behind her eyelids, but they weren’t tears of pain, they were tears of frustration, of helplessness at her situation. Why did she have the powers of the goddess of creation if she could not use them to save those she loved? Why couldn’t she fix him? Why wasn’t it working?
She was starting to feel Steve’s life slipping through her fingers, the string of his reality starting to fray, each individual thread breaking by the second. Was it her heart beating in her ears or his? Her breathing faltering or his? She could feel his heart give up, his lungs struggle to take one more breath, his blood being replaced by that shadowy poison.
The process wasn’t slow, it was one loud snap in her ears, more deafening than the silence that came after it, ringing in her ears. Her eyes refused to open, seeing the binding light dim by the second, she refused to see his empty expression, his glassy eyes. She refused to accept the emptiness of his death.
She had failed.
One breath.
Two breaths.
Three breaths.
It hurt to realize they were hers, they weren’t Steve’s, they were hers. She was alive and he wasn’t. Her heart was beating, not his. She didn’t register the whimper that came out of her mind, it was too soft, too little for her ringing ears to hear it. She wrapped her arms around herself, holding her hands above her broken heart, they shook with anger and despair, she had failed. Her vision blurred yet again with tears, pain and frustration mixing in her soul, another whine escaping her lips.
Why did she have the powers of a goddess if it was to be unable to save her friends? She was bound to helplessness as she couldn’t reach the depths of her strength, hidden deep beneath her fear. Her breathing grew harsher, another complaint mixing in, her wings curling around her to hopefully shield her from the sight. She shook again with a sob, a spark of magic growing in her heart, lighting up her chest and hands. But she was too blind to sit it, her complaints and sobs turning into broken cries, cries that turned into a full on pained and loud shriek.
It was heartbreaking, gut wrenching, excruciating, it was the scream of a child, losing yet another father, of a girl who had already given up so much, losing even more, of a teenager, stuck into the deep pit of her own self doubt who had only failed even more. And most importantly of a goddess, hidden in the cage of a mortal body, too broken to survive her power.
There seemed to be a second snap in her ears, the sound of the bound she had put on herself breaking to free the power she was afraid of. She felt a rush of energy running through her veins, golden lines forming the missing feathers of her sprawled wings, lighting up the tip of her fingers and exploding into a dome of pure energy. And when it extended too much, bouncing off the walls, clearing the shadows that crept in the alley, calling curious neighbors to their windows, it imploded, compacting into a tight ball in her hands, beating, pulsing, like a second heart.
She took it and shakily brought it to Steve’s chest, holding her breath. It quickly replaced the shadows in his blood, warm golden light running through them, and when it was gone, he breathed.
He breathed.
The gold feathers faded with her worry, shadows reaching everything they could touch again, but she didn’t care, she stared, mouth agape and eyes of a child who’s just opened the best christmas present. She let out a breath as he took another one, joy exploding in her heart as she watched Steve stir and groan. She had revived him. She. Had. Brought. Him. Back.
In seconds she threw herself into his arms, hugging the newly revived man. She cried with happiness, sobbing expressing her pure relief. He was alive. As if to remind herself of it, she put her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat and feeling the rise and fall of his breathing. He was perfectly healthy.
Ending notes: uhhh, I'm sorry? Lol no I'm not. Please don't hate me. Anyways, please don't copy my work, reblogs are greatly appreciated.
Summary: Timebomb x reader matching things (accessories, clothes, tattoos or etc) because they would like to get married but uh you know (request)
Warnings: no plot, fluff, gn!reader, not proof read
Pairings: Alternate!Powder x reader x Ekko
A/n: since I didn't know if the request was meant for alternate powder or Jinx, I did both. Enjoy!
Alternate! Powder and ekko
I think if they want to get married, but they can't, they'd be the type to have promise rings.
Probably one with either three small gemstones of the colour of each (blue for powder, white or orange for ekko and whatever colour you like) or one with each of your initials engraved (as in EP and your initial)
Powder would probably have it on a chain around her neck, and Ekko either on his finger or in a chain too. Under his shirt probably, to not damage it or lose it.
You're just sipping on your drink, waiting for your two partners in one of the tables of the Last Drop. It's a lazy day, slow, sunny, nothing you wouldn't like to go out in. Vander is cleaning glasses when he notices the ring.
"What's that? Getting married already?" He teases, watching Powder and Ekko come in, light catching on the silver around Powder's necks. It isn't until Ekko puts his hand on the counter that he notices the gems on his finger. "Matching rings hm? Get engaged already" He teases again, serving them their drinks.
Benzo has about the same reaction when he walks in, a playful scowl on his face. "You're too young to be thinking about marriage" He scolds, not so playfully. But you all don't care, simply happy to have matching rings.
Then there's more permanent stuff, for example tattoos
I'd see ekko being a clock, and powder either a raven or some gears. Or then you could have the moon (powder) the sun (ekko) and the stars (you). Anything that is symbolic. The three of you would have the same tattoo with the three symbols.
I don't think they would outright tattoo their partners names on their skin, it feels too... impersonal in a way. Or maybe just not like them.
You were all lounging in Powder's hideout, thinking, talking. "What about tattoos?" You proposed, and immediately ekko started doodling.
"Yeah, maybe we could do like... I don't know, birds?" He chuckled, making various different designs.
When you finally picked your designs, you went to a tattoo artist, giving him a few days to create the stencil. In the end, Ekko chose to have his on his shoulder, and powder on her calf, the three of you showing it off once it was all done.
To be honest, it's probable all of your parents were quite sceptic about the tattoos. But once it was done, it was too expensive to get it off. So no one could do anything else than warn you it might not be a good idea.
It was. You kept it forever.
If they feel more like matching things casually, then there's three options
For clothes they'd probably go off a colour, for dates, for example, today everyone goes with a red item, like a jacket, a dress, etc.
Or maybe color coding, like, everyone wears a red top and a blue bottom.
Or maybe simply pattern matching. Something like that.
"I think we should do blue" Powder argued.
"But I want to wear my red jacket!" You complained. Ekko just laughed at your antics.
"But red doesn't go with my hair" she argued.
"It does, stop being a bitch." You muttered, shoving your red hoodie at her, slipping on your red jacket.
"You're finished?" Ekko mused, red coat already slipped on. "Were going to be late"
Powder pouted, nodding as you tugged her out, on your way to meeting with all of your friends. Everyone stared at the laughing couple you were, but how could you care when your girlfriend was snickering along with your boyfriend?
You could also match a piece of jewellery you would wear every day, so for example some earrings, a bracelet, a necklace, maybe everyone a different one but theme coded.
So let's say you do earrings, powder would be blue, ekko gold. So, you could be wearing sapphire gold earring, or a gold necklace and a blue gemstone.
More than everyone wearing the same piece of jewelry, they'd do like a theme and each wears their partner's theme. So ekko could be wearing a blue earring and a ring with your theme.
Or it vould be a charm more than a colour.
Everyone noticed it, from night to day, all of you had changed the usual jewelry you wore, ekko's plain silver earings had now each a small charm, different. Powder's necklace had, added to the crystal it used to have, two more charms with it. And you wore the same, well, not excatly, they had one you didn't, and you had one each didn't have.
And finally, the third idea I'd have would be key chains or trinkets. Something that reminds you of your two partners. Maybe custom stickers, or a key chain that says E and P, etc
You could have a phone cord made by powder with blue and golden pearls or maybe gears and clock charms, or a special key chain.
And they'd have the same. Of course, you add whatever feels like you to it. So let's say, you're red and roses, you would each make a phone cord or key chain (depending on preference) with blue pearls, mechanical charms, red pearls, rose charms and golden pearls and clock or clockwork charms.
"Wait- put more blue ones" Powded shoved more pearls towards you, your key chain having a majority of gold and your color. "Please" She pouted.
You willingly agreed, chuckling as she shoved the same pearls towards Ekko. "You too, there's almost none" she complained, like a child. Even if the majority of Ekko's was of both of your colours, barely having gold.
"Powder, we're going to end up with all blue ones" He chuckled, amused at her antics.
"Well that's good, everyone needs to known you're my partners." She scoffed, tugging you closer to her.
You ended up with an almost all blue key chain with mostly charms for Ekko and barely anything for you. Not that you were complaining. Now you had both your partners always in your pocket.
You could also wear matching nails, I feel like Ekko would love to paint his nails. Maybe a colour for each partner or the same colour for everyone. Although that feels less like their chaotic energy.
You held Ekko's hands, painting his nails, one blue, one gold, one of your color, another gold and another blue. Powder was besides you, shaking her hands to make them dry faster.
Soft music played in the background, humming along with it. Your nails had been painted by Powder and hers had been painted by Ekko.
"Do you like it?" You asked softly, examination his hands for any flaws in your paint. "It's cute" you hummed.
"I love it. It's really pretty" He chuckled, taking your hand and kissing it. "Like you" he winked.
"You're gonna mess up your nails" You complained, showing them off to powder. "Look, they're gorgeous"
"Like you" she hummed, grinning. They both stared so much you couldn't help but blush.
Jinx and ekko
If we're talking about Jinx, she would probably go the extra mile and get something more than rings, who knows how far that woman would go
If you're not much the extra type, she would do rings, and so would Ekko. Just like alternate timebomb, they would have something matching in the rings
Maybe three stones again, golden, blue and your colour, or maybe more like your three names together, but jinx would probably put yours in the middle
Ekko would just be the type to follow her ideas, as she's a wild card but in the good way. And she's dedicated
"And I mean, worst that can happen is that we have to make it ourselves" she joked, already picking scrap metal. She was going to make it herself, no matter what you would argue.
And then, a few days later, you would have each a ring around your neck, on a chain. Vi would ask her about it, and the firelight's children would definitely ask Ekko. But they would keep it to themselves, just happy to know they have their partners around their neck.
If we're talking tattoos, Jinx would get the biggest tattoo ever for you and Ekko, wherever you ask her to. Ekko would probably get it somewhere more discreet, he doesn't seem like the type to get visible tattoos, it's more something for you and her
The design would be way more attention calling, you could do birds, a raven, an owl and a bird for you, or symbols, her monkey, ekkos clock or gears and whatever you feel like fits you.
Jinx would totally tattoo your name if you ask her to, but ekko would probably tell her it's not the best idea, especially since she is still a criminal and the three of you are often in danger. Giving directly your partners' names isn't the best idea.
She showed up a few days after choosing the design, showing her back and moving her braids aside. "Look toots, I got the tatto" she giggled, showing off a monkey, a clock and your symbol. "It's about time yall get yours" she pouted.
Ekko shook his head, smiling. At least he had managed to convince her to not get your name. She went towards him, throwing herself on his shoulders. "Whatcha mocking me about hm?" She scolded playfully, glancing at your soft smile.
For casual matching, or date matching, jinx isn't the type to own a lot of different clothes, so she would probably add something symbolic of you to her outfit, like, let's say, a clock for ekko (I'm obsessed with the idea of clocks representing ekko) that she would wear every day
Ekko would do the same if you're up for it.
But if we're talking proper clothes matching, Jinx would just steal something, either from you or from piltover. She would do anything to make you and Ekko happy, your wish is her comand. And Ekko would just follow the vibe, he seems like the more passive type for some reason
If we're talking jewelry, Jinx would love to wear matching jewellery for you. Whether it's the same necklace, or a similar one, she says yes immediately.
Ekko might be a bit more difficult, but he would take an alternative. He would never outright refuse to match with you, how could he?
So for example, you could buy a matching set of earrings, necklace and bracelet, or something like that and they would each take one (jixn the necklace, ekko the earrings probably)
"Hey look what I found" you smiled, showing them three pairs of earring, one with a white crystal, one blue and one of your colour.
Jinx immediately threw herself to you, catching the earrings and gushing about them to Ekko. She took one of her colour, helping ekko put it on and begging you to let her. If you didn't have your ears pierced, you better have them pierced now.
Finally we have key chains. Well, I don't think any of them would be the key chain type so they'd probably do more like... charms that they put on their clothes and belts
Maybe something Jinx and Ekko would make for you, or that you make with them. Small trinkets you'd stick on your stuff
Ekko finally finished sculpting the same monkeys that were on his machine. He added a small key ring on top, putting it besides the other two. He just had to make the three clocks now and they would be done. Jinx would love to add the chains He thought.
"Almost done pretty boy?" You kissed his cheek. It was late, you should both be asleep. Jinx was already snoring on the couch, Isha laying in her arms.
"Almost. Go rest, I'll join you later" he murmured back, hugging you and tugging you on his lap. Maybe you should sleep in his arms, while he works.
And nails, jinx would love to do your nails like hers and also ekkos if he let's her. Just imagine, jinx seeing you wear her colours, I think she would be so happy and proud.
If not maybe Ekko would help you do your nails and you'd do his the same way, and you'd beg Jinx to let you do hers too.
I think that would be cute, that the three of you do each other nails, and make matching little designs and stuff
She was giggling like a school girl, painting your nails the same colour as hers. Your back was against Ekko's chest, his legs on either side of you, his arms around you.
As soon as Jinx finished painting all of your nails you pulled her in, wrapping your legs and arms around her, pressing her back against your chest. And that's how you spent the rest of the evening, all cuddled up.
Something else Jinx would love to match would be stuff in your hair. If you have it long enough to braid, she's sticking stuff into yours and Ekkos hair before you even know about it
Maybe just the same golden stuff she has or maybe actual little trinkets and charms that she made or found
"Your hair is so pretty you know that?" She murmured, braiding your hair, adding the same golden charms she had added into her hair and into Ekko's. "So soft, so shiny, how do you do it?" She pouted a bit.
Ekko watched her with a smile, adding the same charms to her own braids.
A/n: my phone hates me and I think this isn't the right version. But have it anyways because I will not proof read this. I'm sleep deprived and I have to sleep. I hope you like it ;)
