He let go of her gently and opened the door. As he walked out he looked around the street and saw very few people but the people that were there were looking at him because of his tattered clothes. Jax wanted to avoid the people so he lead Janna into an alleyway and they kept on walking, both of them quiet.

After about 15 minutes of walking through the alleyways Jax knocked on a broken looking door. A peephole opened up and they saw light brown eyes staring at Jax and then at Janna after about 30 seconds the peephole closed and they heard sounds of locks unlocking. The door opened and the man and messy brown hair with very thick facial hair. He held out his hand while holding the door telling them downstairs and Jax walked through the door he turned around to Janna and saw that she wasn’t moving and asked,”What’s wrong?”

Janna floated quietly behind him, gripping her staff she took with her anyway just in case. They moved for quite some time before stopping before a broken down door. Her eyes moved to the peephole that opened up and met with them, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. Clicks and clacks of locks sounded, and a strange disgruntled man opened the door. She tightened her grip on her staff, shaking her head in response to his question, then followed behind him. "So... who is this?"

“Well, I…” Janna’s lips pursed with distaste for his harsh words he spat at her. She sighed, pressing her staff down into the ground and leaning on it. “Look, I really don’t care about your’s and Jayce’s problems honestly. I was just curious about your science and studies.” She shrugged nonchalantly before picking up her staff, starting to hover away from him. “I enjoy talking to great minds and about science in general, but if you’re going to be like that about it, then I might as well be on my way.”

That… wasn’t right. A strange feeling formed in his chest, something along the lines of guilt— odd, as the typical Zaunite cold shoulder never really caused him to feel such. He hardly felt inclined to stop her from leaving, but… “I will not act to stop you; however, if you do wish to speak, perhaps it could be on a neutral topic rather than my own work,” he said hurriedly, biting his tongue to stop himself from blabbering more. “I simply ask that you respect when I refuse to divulge any critical information. Whether or not you care little for what happened between Jayce and I, you must understand that my concerns on the matter are not baseless.”

Janna shrugged, stopping in her tracks before turning around. "Fine. How are you then, personally?" She crossed her arms curtly, her lips pursed as she set her staff down and leaned on it. "Your life, the things you do. Anything you may feel inclined to tell me about your life. Or for fun! What do you do for fun?" She tilted her head, sucking in her lower lip and biting it slightly in anticipation.

“Ah, I’m surprised Zaun holds a paper regarding me besides, Crazed man destroys prized scientists lab.” Jayce let out  small laugh. Turning him self from the sky and over to Janna so she would gain his fullest attention. 

“But then again, As scientist we all respect each other with some conflict. Personally I admire Zaun for their great minds. I just wish that they would come in agreement with Piltover.” He let out a slight sigh, Knowing that could only be a fantasy or the end of the world if the two rival states came to that conclusion. “It would be interesting though.” He leaned against the rails of the balcony, Resting his arms across the top of the metal supporting him from falling. “But all from aside, Is there anything you’d like to know about this great city? Or anything for that matter?”

"Honestly, I would like to know more about you and your research. Great minds intrigue me." Janna leaned up against the balcony as well, resting her elbows on the railing and looking over at him. "Tell me about your hammer, anything you've researched." She shrugged lightly, turning her head back and glancing up at the moon, looking out at the vast mechanical land around her. "Or, tell me anything you can about Piltover. Anything I should know, cause as you can tell, I'm still quite new here."

She smiled, closing her eyes as she ran her fingers through her hair. She was slightly shy around the man, only because she was new in the city. Commending the air, she caused a slight breeze, her dress flopping gently in the air. "Hope you don't mind the wind," she murmured, enjoying the breeze.

A trip to the Demacian Zoo! [@Janna]

For obvious reasons, Lux felt very.. bear. It was a strange feeling, one of vulnerability. She trusted in the sunlight though, and figured if anything were to happen the two blondes could handle it. A giggle bubbles from her plush lips, and Lux takes a moment to gaze up at the slightly taller female, squinting behind the dark shades of her sunglasses. 

“Not a problem! Not like I was waiting long or anything~” She stands now, gesturing with her left hand towards the entrance, urging Janna to follow Lux. “It’s been a very long time since I’ve been here. Not since I was a child. Today is the grand opening of the new Frejlord exhibit. Apparently some of our trackers captured a relative to Sejuani’s boar, Bristle. It’s.. attracted a lot of attention, as the line to our left shows..” She adds, seemingly unimpressed by the giant group of people. Grinning curiously, Lux pulls Janna to the side of the line. A flick of her wrist, and the two of them go completely invisible in broad daylight! “My magic will mask your physical being, just step through the gate. This way we don’t have to wait in line. Come on, just be quiet~”

"I was hardly late, Miss Luxanna, quiet you!" She smirked at the blonde before her. The zoo was a grand place, big and bustling with life and sounds of Demacian children ecstatic at the sight of the grandiose scenery about them. There was a slightly visible barrier around them, and she giggled at Lux's abilities. "Guess that knack of learning how to perform an ability after only seeing it once really helps you, huh?"

The two of them crept past the two guards, slipping past the long line of people and into the exhibit, covered and surrounded with ice laced with magic to never melt under the Demacian sun. "Where shall we start first?" Janna asked. She herself had never been to the zoo of Demacia, and was rather excited. In fact, she hadn't been to a zoo at all. Never really in touch with any of the Frejlord sisters, she figured that this exhibit would be a great start for her. 

"So, guess what happened the other night, yeah?"

“I don’t believe you.”

His response was short and the bitterness within him seemed to be more present in four words than in any entire speech he had ever given. She didn’t belong here anyway, but he felt that wasn’t his place to remind her. “If you don’t mind, I’d like get back to what I was doing…” he motioned towards the book he held.

“Good morning,” Jax says yawning while looking at Janna while putting on his jacket. His normal purple clothes still has holes in it from yestarday but his wounds seemed to have already healed.”These guys that we are going up against know everything about us. So I figured we should get some new gear and weapons that we haven’t exactly used in the league,” he says confidently,”If you remember what i said yestarday Steve was getting my mace unsealed for me, it was my real weapon before I used a lamp post. Start thinking of what other weapon you want to use because my friend has everything.”

Jax made his way downstairs and when they made their way downstairs he turned around and gently grabbed her by the arms and said darkly,”For exactly what we are going into we might need to kill the clones. To be more exact you might need to brutally murder people that look identical to your friends. If the time comes, can you do it?”

"New weapons?" Janna reiterated, tilting her head. What was she going to do without her staff that she relied on so much? "I guess... we can manage." Janna gulped at the thought of having to kill her fellow champions. No, she thought. They're not actually champions, they're the clones. She thought about the fact she would have to deal with a clone of Jayce. Though, she didn't think she could do that much damage. She was a ranged mage, classified still as a support. What could she do? Janna was sure she could swing something and hit someone if the time called for, but constantly over and over, she wasn't completely sure if her body would be able to cope with the new stress it would be experiencing for the first time. And on top of that, with the people she would be against...

"Lead the way."

Jax turned around and looked at Janna and answered,”We will be dealing cloned champions and the people that made them know everything that we have done in the league. We are going to get some gear from my friend.” Jax picked up the phone and dialed the second number that was written down on it.

“Hello,” answered the man with a deep, hefty voice.

“Paul it’s Jax we need gear for a mission tomorrow, and start unsealing my mace,” said Jax seriously.

“8 in the morning, be here,” he said and quickly ending the call.

Jax held the phone in his hand for a little while and then set it down. “Be up early tomorrow we’re getting our gear tomorrow morning,” Jax said humorlessly as he started walking up the stairs to the empty room Janna had.

Janna nodded solemnly, though she was a little irritated that Jax had so easily made himself at home. They were only acquainted by the massage he paid to receive, and even then, she didn't receive her payments. How could she trust this man? I guess I have to... If he was claiming Piltover was in trouble, she would do what she could to save her new adopted home. She commanded the winds to set their teacups in the sink to be washed tomorrow. 

Waking up, she was up early, dressed in her usual attire, shorts, a white shirt, a corset, and white shorts to match with the the four pieces of cloth dangling from her waist. She knocked on her guest room and saw that Jax was already up. "Hey, so what's up," She asked, not really sure what she should be expecting.

A trip to the Demacian Zoo! [@Janna]

Fewer things brought as much delight to Luxanna as the sunlight on her skin did. With no clouds in the sky, Lux currently was seated on a bench infront of the Demacian Zoo. Rarely did Lux wear anything besides her usual standard Demacian armor but today she didn’t want to melt to death. Flip flops, shorts, sunglasses and a baby blue tank top.. she hoped and prayed silently to herself that there wasn’t a Noxian assassin lurking in the shadows of the poro exhibit. It went without saying that she had her trusty baton on her waist. Vulnerable? Maybe. But defenseless? Pfft yeah right….. A good friend of Lux’s was in town, she had requested the two have a day just for ~girl talk~.. or whatever that was. Lux wasn’t exactly sure but told Janna she’d meet her at the zoo. Apparently Janna was having cravings for ice cream too.. Man she was a weirdo.. Regardless, Lux knew today would a good day to unwind and relax.

After Lux had showed Janna around the palace a week or so ago,  the two had become more acquainted than they were before. They were always friendly with each other, people making note of their resemblance got them to be that way. The tour around the Palace gave them the chance to hang out more, and before they knew it, a get together was planned for the both of them. 

Her wear was very casual, a shade darker than taupe shorts accentuated by a white collared top. Goggles still on her head from working on another wind zepplin before she left home, she pushed them back to hold her hair up, and as always, was accompanied by her staff. 

Spotting Lux near the entrance, Janna hovered toward her, waving her hand in greeting. "Hey girly!" She greeted cheerfully, smiling as she landed on her feet before the other blonde. "Sorry I was late, I had to fix up a few things on something I was working on." She pulled off a glove hiding her hand, revealing it to be dirty with grease and oils. Pulling it back on she shrugged. "Doesn't come off that easily."

Dear mother,

There are many things that I’ve wanted to ask you, like why did you let go? Why didn’t you stop me from leaving? I would have stayed if you had showed some compassion to me leaving you.

I hope things are alright in Zaun. In fact, I hope you’re alright only. I’m doing well, a lot better than I thought I’d be off. I moved to Piltover. I hope you’re not disappointed in me for doing so, but I’m happy here. The people are nice. I met a man, though you may not like him simply for what he’s done to Zaun.

I hope you’re doing well, mother. I miss you terribly.

Jax pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket with two names and two sets of numbers. The first name was Alex and the second name was Steve. He started dialing the phone and when he finish he put the phone to his ear hearing the ringtone.

The man picked up,”Hello who is this.”

“Hey Alex its Jax,” he said very annoyed.

“No way you’re still alive? I can’t believe that,” Alex said shocked to hear that it was him.

“Yes I’m alive, what’s that suppose to mean,” he answered confusingly.

“I heard that they went on high alert because of an intruder, I have a spy in there right now,” he replied explaining the situation.

“Why didn’t you say anything about the cloned champions?” he asked.

“What did you just say?” asked Alex back appalled from what he just heard.

“Yes to be specific Jayce, Graves, Darius and once I saw my own clone i left, barely got out.” he answered startled to know that Alex had no idea about the clones.

“Jax can you still take him down?” he asked worryingly.

“Yes just throw in 2000 more gold,” he said with a chuckle

“Done, I’ll talk to you after the job is done,” he said with a serious tone.

He heard Alex hang up the phone and then he hung it up as well. Jax was still standing and he looked over to Janna asked,”Hey you coming to help me save Piltover?”

Janna stuttered and blubbered slightly.  "You want... Me to help you?" Her eyebrow perked up in in suspicion. "I guess I'm in. What's the problem that we're going to be assessing then?" She'd picked up a hint of their conversation on the phone, with whomever he was talking to. "How can I assist you then?" Her eyes narrowed. She would do anything to protect Piltover.

Jax let out a huge sigh,”What did I get myself into,” he took another sip of his tea,”I know why the guy was wanted, he is probably one of “those” villains like taking over the world or something along those lines and he’s using the strongest he can get, Champions. It makes sense because most of us are the strongest representatives basically the strongest warriors.” He got up while he was talking looking at Janna and made his way to the other side of the room,”Can i use your phone?”

"I guess you do have a point." Janna sighed heavily, bringing her hand to her head and rubbing her temples to alleviate and compute all the information she was still given. It was just too much for her, taking and cloning champions, especially the champions that were cloned so far. She waved Jax away, signaling him that he was allowed to use the phone. She placed her tea cup down on the table, then leaned forward on her knees and placed her head in her hands. She wasn't going to let anything happen to her adoptive home of Piltover.

Janna stared at the blank piece of paper. "What kind of prose is this?" She questioned aloud. "Just because I was a phone service girl it doesn't mean that I was for women as well!" She huffed to herself and crumpled the piece of paper, throwing it away.

I truly enjoyed my time a few nights ago with you. It was a splendid evening with a wonderful end. After these past 3 years, we can be together, my love.

Janna tilted her head, sitting down across from Jax, sipping her tea as well and listening to the Grandmaster’s story. “Well, uh, at least you’ve got the money. But how did it go horribly wrong, exactly?” She leaned back, examining Jax’s outwardly appearance. He was tattered and beaten up. She wondered if she should try to help him out a bit, perhaps  give him something for his damages.

He took another sip of the chamomile tea thinking,”this tea is really good.” Jax put down the cup onto the glass table,”So turns out that the guy I was after was a scientist, or at least the head of a group of scientists and I guess they were trying to take over Piltover and I was sent to capture this guy. There was a catch that I had no idea about and as you could tell I found out the hard way. The project these scientists were working on was a cloning project and to make it worse he was cloning champions.” He took another sip of his tea and looked at Janna and asked her,”You seem worried. Well back to the the mission, I have confirmed 4 functional, soulless champions that only do what the scientists order. When they found me they sent out 3 champions it was a clone of Jayce, Darius and Graves. I know my limits but I knew after enough time I could take them all out. I started running when I saw the last champion. If you were wondering who it was, it was myself, Jax, as the fourth cloned champion.”

Janna's eye twitched as she soaked in the information that was so quickly given to her. Scientists were.... cloning champions? But why, what was the point? Thinking of the champions that were mentioned of their cloning, she reminisced a few moments on the rift where she was forced against them. Darius killed her many times, as had Graves which she frequently saw bot lane, as well as Jax, who always focused her lane opponent. "Why... why are people doing this?"

A Reminder of Home

  “Um…” She takes the bananas in her hands, holding them and watching him grin up at her. “You don’t have to give me anything back in return. It’s a gift for a reason. It is your birthday after all.” Janna held the bananas out before her again, insisting that Rammus take them back from her. “I’m glad you enjoy that cactus though. I knew you would like it, a little steam golem told me.” She beamed at him lightly.

At the mention of birthday, Rammus’s head cocked. He had never heard of the term birthday. Albeit yes today was the day he was born, he was confused as to why he was getting a gift for being born. For him, wasn’t the chance of living and seeing the next day enough?

“Oh. Uhm. Well, what is a birthday?” Rammus asked, scratching his head. “I’ve never really had one, and I mean, we don’t really celebrate them out in the wild…” Rammus, said, looking away from embarrassment.

“What all do people do on a birthday?”

Janna tilted her head in concern. "You don't know... what a birthday is? It's when people and friends celebrate the day that you were born. Sometimes you get gifts, sometimes you just get to enjoy the company of others. In this case, I guess it's both." She scratched her head. "How did you celebrate it in the wild?"
