Hiiiiiiaaaaaa! You don’t know me? Well you should! EVERYONE SHOULD. We are Carnage!
There is no longer just Cletus Kassidy and a symbiote, we are one and bonded together forever to create MAXIMUM CHAOS and destruction!!! I stand around 7’2 with teeth to tear flesh and break bones, I roam the streets and shadows of New York City to make your lives a living hell
I kill who i want, i have zero moral code like those goodie too-shoo heroes. But I do have one and only one love, @vanadee-hailz-aka-best-merc-ever , she’s mine- and if anyone tries anything with her I will make your death slow and so very painful. She’s mine, mine mine mine mine MINE-
I reside within a universe called Earth 616-B where my Dove resides, but symbiotes are hivemind aliens, or lab created goop, but aliens are what symbiotes are from.
Venom/Eddie Pops tried killing me in that stupid cathedral with my now ex Shriek, that bitch is long gone and very dead, but we escaped before he could kill us.
Talk to me if you dare, because I do bite :)
(About Mun below)
About Mun and blog!
Hiii! You can call me Trixxie. Whenever I talk OOC I’ll usually state before hand //or like this
My main account is @thanathecreator but I also have a writing one called @trixxiewrites I also control @vanadee-hailz-aka-best-merc-ever
I am still new at roleplay, so please feel free to tell me if I’m doing something wrong or uncomfy, it’s a learning experience! Im probably gonna be updating this on occasion.
This is very fanon based
This Carnage blog is very not strict to the canon since it’s inspired by Venom 2 let there be Carnage and in it he dies, but me and a friend write a fanfiction where Carnage is the main antagonist to Gore. I write Carnage as being very possessive and obsessive of Gore, but I’ll try to interact with more than just Gore (╥_╥)
But Carnage will most likely be a 17+ blog and soon be 18+ unless specified because of the content discussed (swearing, gore, might be sexual content idk, stalking, obsessive and stalking behaviors, dark humor and ideas discussed, the works) so viewer discretion is advised- I am not the police so I won’t be able to tell if your a minor if you rp with Carnage.
Talk to me if you want to do a long term roleplay, shipping, or anything! I don’t bite but Carnage might!
I am open to crack shipping, shipping with any Marvel character or a person’s oc if both parties are open to it, and asks are always welcomed! If you have questions just ask- I don’t bite even if Carnage is by default a psycho.
Mun is awkward-
I follow a lot of rp accounts but sometimes anxiety is a bitch and I don’t interact bc idk how my character will relate to there’s. So If we’re moots and you want to interact with Carnage please do! Respond time may vary depending on schedule
Red, if you had a different name what would you want it to be? Also do you share the hive mind with all of the infinite yous in the multiverse? If you do what do you think of Dark Carnage from the Absolute Carnage storyline?
Hm... I've never truly had a name. Red has been my nickname from Cletus. I am him just as much he is me, we complete one another.
As for the other 'me's- the other Carnage's in the chaos of the... multiverse. It is a complicated thing. Yes I can sense certain things from my other selves, like an old dream or memory- but it isn't lucid like memories of killing.
And the Dark Carnage? ah yes... that one sent ripples in the hivemind. An interesting specimen to be reborn. But I do not know it all.
Cletus roamed the streets of Brooklyn, a little agitated after his last massacre a few boroughs over when a fine little birdy caught his eye while leaving a laboratory. A dark twisted grin splits his face, his symbiote hissed within his mind- lashing under his skin with glee for another kill 'CATCH CATCH, MAIM HER, DEVOUR!!' it all but screeches, but he mentally tuts at his other half mentally till it quiet down like a pouty child, now was not the time to go feral though the idea of doing so would be delicious.
The woman, oblivious with a grin talking on her phone- which she soon pocketed away, walked along the sidewalks with a level of certainty that made her almost seem naive to the darkness that surrounded her in a city like this, but the way she walked and held herself warranted pause. A twitch to his senses... something older lingered. His heightened nose picking up on it like a dog picks up on the scent of fresh bait, as well as some sort of magic charm possibly blocking whatever she truly was to the eyes of the city.
"Ooohhh... something old is playing human in different skin, why would one be playin' little lamb in a city like this..~" He giggled under his breath all to himself a couple streets over as he watched unblinking, his trench coat giving him a place to clench his hands in the tattered pockets- to hold back that usual chaos that trembled through him. Maybe he should give her a little visit once she got all home and comfy, under the guise of being safe...
From a distance Cletus stalked like the predator he was, worn boots scuffing slightly against cracked pavement. Sticking to shadows and watching intensely, occasionally taking detours through side paths so it made it seem less like he was following rather just some lone soul among the crowd of oblivious humans.
The putrid scent of New York's hustle and bustle filled my nose, for once the menace dawned his more 'human' form. Wild red hair shifting in the wind, but the pulse in his of his other half- Red- continued. It was the blood in his veins, the part that made his madness complete. But the normally unresponsible chaos incarnate had... matters to attend to. A prodigy, another symbiote! The younger spawn may have been from his maker, a different Venom from a different time, but he had no familial connection to the brute of Black and White, and seemed to lack any knowledge a usual symbiote inherited.... a defect. But even defects had skills.
Cletus stood among the rooftops, letting the younger boy catch up, his tendrils slipping out from his skin. The red and black appendages twitching, ready to teach, ready to rip. The City that never sleeps was a perfect hunting ground despite the pestering heroes. But this child had... stubbornness, irritatingly so, even if the kid seemingly lived under rock and syringe he still upheld a morality he wished to squash. And tonight was that night. "You're lateeee~." He drawls in a sing-song tone, a sharp grin almost cracking his face.
Ethan scurried onto the rooftop, tendrils slowly disappearing behind him. He shivered at the cold from being high up the thin jacket he was wearing, clearly not helping like he thought it would.
"...no..."
He mumbled, staring at the ground kicking a rock with his foot. His shoes were covered with sharpie drawings of silly childish doodles of his symbiote and other heroes of the city.
Cletus’s eyes shift, still grinning, but his eyes darken faintly at the sight of the doodles on his shoes, but he didn’t comment- not yet… he’d just have to go steal some clothes with the kid and burn those when he wasn’t looking.
“Me? Early?” He mock gasps, a hand over his chest before laughing. “I set up the times! You agreed to this~ and I’m usually REALLY generous on time..”
Cletus tilts his head a bit. Letting some silence fill the non silent air before adding with a low purr “But you’ve been late, twice in a row… Getting cold feet?”
“Exactly,” he chimes simply, his plastered smile almost twitching “I’m the only one who gets it. Gets us.” His tendrils twirl, as if motioning to the city
“Tonight? Oh tonight we are going to go and have a little fun,” Cletus laughs and the symbiote thrums in manic glee- itching for the chaos, but first he had to teach the younger one.
Turning to Ethan and spreading his arms in mock opening- watching the kids reactions as he keeps speaking. “Us symbiotes? We need to eat, we need to thrive. And a city like this? It’s full of prey and fun things to play with.”
His head tilts, voice dropping to a mockery of a whisper, “The people see us and are scared. They think we’re monsters and we don’t belong here. The heroes lock us up, prod, use us. But us two? We’re free of them. Free of there jurisdiction!” Some of his symbiote tendrils snap out, breaking a wall of a nearby apartment
Cletus sneered slightly, that flinch not going unnoticed to his manic gaze. "And does that Spider-fool have a symbiote still? No, he abandoned it, left it to die because he was selfish. That's how your pops was born! Venom. Hatred towards the heroes."
He laughs sharply, "The heroes don't save all of us, or like all of us because it's what they have to do, they pick and choose when to show face. But behind closed doors there just as ugly on the inside as the villains they claim us to be. That's why we," Cletus motioned to him with a lone tendril in a show of twisted camaraderie "you and I, have to do what we do. To make sure they don't forget us." He explains with a hiss at the end.
...Carnage should be drawn with bone teeth and a tongue. Fight me.
My reasoning for the tongue I won't be getting into - yes, I suppose it is mostly aesthetics - but. The bone teeth do matter.
Let's compare the classic Bagley design to my personal favorite iteration of Carnage by Stephen Segovia from Superior Carnage side by side. (Yes, I do wish he had been given black teeth and his black highlights, but in terms of lineart, he is probably my favorite design besides a few designs presented in variant covers. Especially in terms of build, as he's not too skinny, and not muscular enough to be reminiscent of Venom.)
The bone teeth only add to the intimidating factor for me. Yes, you have this creature who can easily slice you in half or stab you whenever he wants, but even if by some miracle you manage to survive his ranged attacks, if you make the mistake of letting him get too close, he can also just as easily snap your neck with his teeth or bite your entire head off.
It gives you one more thing to be scared of, basically, and adds to Carnage's unpredictability.
The teeth in the classic design seem flat and only decorative, and don't look like they can bite into anything. You can't even tell whether they're supposed to be solid or more liquid like the tendrils. Plus they give off a more...cartoony look, though I guess that's almost exclusively subjective.
I would also argue the bone teeth further drive home the point that ever since merging with Carnage, Cletus has completely renounced whatever traces of humanity may have resided in him, having found solace in becoming less man and more killing machine/predator that destroys everything in its path.
Anyway, that's it, thank you for coming to my TED talk.
