this pride month remember that autistic adults can and do have healthy sexual lives and nothing about having autism makes us "incapable of consenting" or "oblivious to sex" and that the fight to autistic body autonomy is real, so covering up topics of sex because you personally dont think it's a big issue is ignoring a big issue in autistic dating lives

This is about how often sex is starting to get destroyed as an LGBT topic when LGBT sex, and autistic LGBT sex especially, is important to talk about. Every body, autistic and LGBT, has the right to have their actions be treated with respect, and autistic people can consent and need to be given their right to consent or reject. @ other gay people you must listen to us

i rly dont like the mindset that all lgbt people want is to be “accepted” and that all out community is about it “inclusion”. no. we want access to trans health care. we want anti discrimination laws for housing and employment. we want marriage equality. we want to stop trans kids from being forced to go by their dead name at school. we want to abolish the gay/trans panic defense. we want to stop corrective rape. we want black trans women to stop being murdered. being “accepted” by cishets isnt the goal, and neither is being an all-inclusive club. i want to be able to live my life freely as an lgbt person. our community was created out of the need to survive. that has nothing to do with being “valid”.
