This is the last of my father’s spare bicycle stuff I considered too antique or hard-to-sell. I was feeling a wide range of emotions standing on the steps. I had to look inside and pull out some photographs that my Dad forgot to take out of the boxes of parts all those years ago - God forbid I lose any of the history. There were some really good treasures in there such as an antique turn signal, which I debated on keeping, but in the end I thought it best to let someone else have the experience. I grabbed some spare tubes, an unused English tube repair kit, some 100 year old Japanese bike lights I thought were neat, and a forearm-length rubber glove I used to wear when I was put on steel-wool scrubbing duty.
