We know that Cultivation and Honor were romantically involved, so when Honor died Cultivation gave up on humanity is how I read it. Whether that means that Nightwatcher is Cultivation or a Sliver of Cultivation or something else, I don’t know.

The sphere(s) have been RAFO’d so hard that it gave the 17th Shard whiplash ;-) I think hat the Shin have completely lost their way. The idea that they sent Szeth out into the world with an Honorblade and a stone with some sort of strong Investiture because they were afraid of what he was saying is absolutely insane. I think that we’ll end up finding that there’s more going on there, possibly that they’re being run by one of the Heralds (who have all lost their minds at this point).

This brings up so many more questions (because SA is a labyrinth and I refuse to believe I’m alone in that). I know we’ll find out more in time and I should probably just be patient, but I’m trying to put together all the pieces I can… 

My only problem with Cultivation being Nightwatcher is that it’s pure speculation at this point (please, correct me if I’m wrong on this or anything else). I love to theorize and hear what people are thinking but I’m not convinced that we know enough to make this connection.

I’d love to know more about Cultivation - we know precious little about her. She was romantically involved with Honor, her holder is still alive, and she’s good at seeing the future.

And what the HELL, Shinovar?? I am so curious about Shin culture. At BEST they’re being led by freaking madmen.

Hello! I have finished the 2 currently out Stormlight Archive books (in 2 weeks) and I am about to go onto Mistborn and this is probably a really mean question, but which did you like better? (It's okay if you say they're equal, 'cause that just encourages me to read them.) Anyway, I love this blog and I could spend hours upon hours on it, so good job!

(BOTH? IN 2 WEEKS?? *slowclapping*) 

ARENT THEY JUST GREAT!! I MEAN THEY’RE ALL GREAT BECAUSE ITS BRANDERSON AND HE IS GENIUS

Personally, I started with Mistborn, and at the time I was way in to dystopian worlds so it was awesome, BUT THEN I READ SA and I was so enthralled and inspired by it that I slept with it under my pillow in hopes that through osmosis I would absorb its genius through the night, and hopefully wake up with cosmere spren everywhere 8)

But yeah, back to the (mean) question. They are equally amazing. Mistborn reads a bit faster due to it being shorter, but my gosh, Kelsier. (Trust me, you’ll want that book to be longer, just for his sake.)
