Golden hour in Segovia, Spain 2018

“Don’t cross an ocean for someone who won’t even walk beside you.” If you asked me for a small piece of relationship advice, that would be one thing I’d tell you. Here we see some photos from one of my (2) trips to Spain, and just like when we were together, he’s walking away from me. He knew I loved taking photos, but didn’t care to pause for a moment to wait for me. He just kept going. Now I have many photos of him walking away, what could be nice images, marred by him standing in the shot. I think the narcissistic part of him liked that…because even when I aimed somewhere else, if he was close, then he would stick his head into the shot.

One time he got angry with me because I didn’t want to sneak into a tourist attraction to avoid a fee. He was mad about 8£….when I was the one who spent hundreds or more to go see him in Scotland from Canada, and drove the majority of the road trip up to the castle ruins. (On the other side of the car and road, and a standard vehicle, no less!)

A recent painting, gouache on watercolor paper. I like how it turned out for the most part, though I would like it more if the black was blacker. My dream gouache paints are the himi paints but I can't afford them, so I'm stuck with the half dried out ones that I have for now. If anyone wants to buy me some, I'd repay you with a gouache painting (6×9) XD

A quick painting of the Mandalorian that I did a couple of years ago. I go through phases where I want to paint more, so I make one or two paintings then go months without picking it back up again. I'm currently working on a project and have made painting the central component in that work as a way to stick with it more
