Hey I’m briefly resurrecting this blog to say happy pride month to EVERYONE. To the trans people that don’t pass and don’t care to. The the nb people who don’t look perfectly androgynous. To the messy gay people who are still trying to figure their shit out. To the queer people who just want to settle down with kids and those who think that sounds like hell. To the polyamorous, to the aromantic, to the gnc, to everyone in the closet.

A big fuck you to the corporations that place rainbows on crap whilst lobbying again queer rights. Massive FUCK you to all the politicians that have dragged queer rights into politics as some grotesque power play. I would rather piss next to a thousand trans women than one transphobe.

To everyone out there you deserve unconditional love and safety. Im so sorry if you aren’t getting it but please keep looking its out there even if its hidden.

the strength card (at least the way I read it) represents bravery, fortitude, compassion, and grace under pressure rather than physical might or forcefulness. Allan, arguably the queerest bit of a very queer-coded, Camp movie, feels like a perfect example of this inner strength. Allan doesn’t quite fit in with the Barbies and doesn’t quite fit in with the Kens - it takes strength just to live this way. But Allan knows who he is and, when push comes to shove, Allan will fight with unlimited courage for what’s right. You can depend on Allan.
