Heimdall paused when he was called back, turning to her again. He was hesitant, drawing back a bit as he tried to think on how to proceed. Finally, he said, "I fear you are not ready to know all that I have to tell, lady Carter," he said. "But I can say that I am not of this world, but I know you for your great importance to this one. That is all I can offer."

        The queen gave a sigh, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders. “Mothers always worry for her children, but Thor and Loki in particular. Both are headed down different paths, one I fear will only lead to darkness.”

          Heimdall hesitated. There had been a time when he was quite fond of Loki,had hoped to see him do great things, even if he had known from the beginning that he would never see the crown, his bloodline being what it was. He had thought that unfortunate, once, for though he could see into the past there was no way to see the future, even with the allsight. Now, though... Heimdall looked away, unable to meet the queen's gaze. "I hate to say it, my queen," he said, quietly, "but perhaps you are right to worry."

Ragnarök

The twilight of the gods will happen like this. There will be three years of terrible winters, and summers of black sunlight. People will lose all hope, and surrender to greed, incest and civil war. Midgardsormen, the world serpent, will come lunging from the ocean, dragging the tides in and flooding the world. The wolf, giant Fenrir, will break his invisible chains. The skies will open and Surt, the fire giant, will come flaming across the bridge to destroy the Gods. Odin will ride out of the gates of Valhalla to do battle for the last time against the wolf. Thor will kill the serpent, but die from its venom. Surt will spread fire across the Earth. At last, Fenrir will swallow the sun.

"London... I see..." Heimdall looked away, eyebrows drawing together. He couldn't walk to London, there was an ocean in the way, and even without that the distance would be too much for his mortal body. He would need a plane, and, seeing as he had no currency, that would pose a problem. Sighing, Heimdall turned back to Tony. "Do you know when he will be back from London?"

A flicker of confusion passed over Peggy’s face. “My name?  Is ingrained in your memory?  I’m sorry; do I know you?”

 Heimdall looked away. "You do not know me, no," he said, "but I know you." He paused. "Perhaps it is better left unexplained. I am sorry to have interrupted."

               Race is more-or-less nonexistent in Asgard, any further than being "Asgardian" rather than from any other realm. Heimdall's skin color has no relevance to him or to anyone in Asgard, as skin color is not something that occurs through family lines. For example, two Asgardians with dark skin could easily have a child with fair skin, and think nothing of it. This explains both Heimdall's family (see: Sif being his sister) as well as the fact that there are several different ethnic appearances in Asgard, but a very small population. Therefore, if you point out to Heimdall on Earth verse that he's "black," he isn't going to know what you're talking about.

     don’t have the sunny side to face this, i figured out how to be faithless. trying, but i’m graceless.      all of my thoughts of you ;; BULLETS through rock, and through — come  a p a r t  at the seams, now i know what dying means.
