Lucky Ones [Avrid||Amata; Vault RP]
"Well… That makes two of us, dealing with our work and all." She nodded in agreement, shuffling her feet as she stood. Her head slightly tiled to the side when her friend commentated about hanging out with her father other than her, which made her roll her eyes. "I dunno. My dad does seem more interesting than hanging out with you, Almodovar." She joked playfully, chuckling slightly afterwards. "I guess my dad can wait so I can hang out with you, I don’t think there would be much to do anyway. Him and Jonas can take care of anything." Actually, she could remember clearly her father’s griping earlier this morning, complaining about Stanley’s stress related symptoms and how the Overseer lacked a form of common sense. One of these days, she need to take the time to record one of his off halter rants, just for later chuckles.
"So," She started off, adjusting the satchel strap of her back on her shoulder and standing up tall. "How are you doing, Amata? Hope sitting in a classroom for about half the day was just as riveting to you as it was to me." She said rather sarcastically, half-true and half-lying. "It seemed kinda droll to me, I could have spent the day reading at least…"
Amata's eyes quickly narrowed at her friends idea of a joke "Hey! If I'm so dull then go make Christine your new friend, I'm sure she'd love to read you a few chapters of a textbook out loud." the teen playfully hit her friends shoulder as she rolled her eyes.
"Well I'm trying to do something with my life so I try to pay attention as much as possible." she was partially serious as she thought about the goat test, getting an undesirable result made her nervous to no end. "Don't want to end up as a janitor..." a slight shiver crept up her spine as she thought about it. "Well anyway, you plan on going that dance Mr. Broch mentioned?" Amata slightly nudged Avrid's arm with her elbow. "Dances mean dates and a date means..." her eyes trailed over to the rowdy group of boys that consisted of Butch, Wally, and Paul. "...One of them." her tone was colored with disgust, she'd rather die than be paired up with one of them. "Or Freddie is always available. There's actually an even amount of boys for the girls, if someone tried to force us that is..."
