when my aunt passed away, Allah yarhamha, I was in a lot of pain. It hurt that nobody really understood that because they assumed that since she wasn’t my mother, that it must not matter. She wasn’t even my blood. She was my fathers sister in law. But I was very close to her. I cried a lot those weeks and months. I couldn’t believe it. I knew her my whole life and then she was just gone suddenly. It happened out of no where. But as the months and went by, I was able to return to normal. The crying lessened and now I sometimes catch myself that I forget about what’s happened. It’s been over ten years now. Subhan Allah. This message is just to say that you’ll be ok, inshaa’ Allah. This is going to hurt, but you will make it through by Allah’s help and mercy. May Allah grant you and your family patience. Ameen.

Let’s say your matrilineal line is fairly consistent and everyone has their daughter at 25. So four women in your matrilineal line are born every hundred years.
